“Love the items I find at the Dollar & a quarter store. Save a lot on party supplies & Can’t beat the price of bleach and cleaning supplies! Let’s not forget the hair accessories are too cute! You can find some crafts as well that are fun to do with the kids. The staff are usually nice but I’m sure it’s the same as everywhere else. Don’t recommend the flip flops they aren’t worth a quarter. Not enough employees and underpay the ones that show up.”
“It's weird checking out here. They have what appears to be self check outs that you have to have an employee check you out at. Instead of a normal check out you are awkwardly side by side checking out. Either go back to traditional or go to self checkout. This is weird.
Otherwise it's a normal 5 below and I had a great experience with an associate looking in back for product and found it. He was awesome.”
“I shop here at least once a week and Love finding "Made in America " items like Fluffy Cannon towels. I also enjoy the books and Word Seek magazines in large print.Note to Shoppers....If you see something you like, buy it then because it will not be there when you return.Lessons learned the hard way!!”

I don't recommend the store at pine Forest Rd and longleaf Dr I would not go there unless you like rude management and don't go in there with any bills bigger than a 20 bill management refuse to take a 50 or a 100 dollar bill witch I think is stupid and bad management”

“I want to give a great shout out to associate Mr. Jeff!! The gentleman greeted me at the door, assisted with products and was very positive and encouraging. He assisted and greeted everyone that walked in the store which is rare in this day and age. I may not be back often because I rarely y travel this area but after meeting an old fashioned customer service associate I may be back to keep a cash flow from me. I wish I could hire him as an assistant manager in the next city over because it would really set standards higher. Thank you Mr. Jeff for your amazing service and works!!”
“We stopped in for a few things on 5/12/23, and had a great experience. I felt like the cashier really appreciated us, and treated us like family. As we go about our busy lives, people tend to not interact much with store associates. Store associates need to know that they are appreciated also, so we try to interact with others in a positive way, hoping to brighten their day. I feel like our visit that day did just that, and also brightened our day!”

“This DG location is an older remodeled free standing building. It's YUGE! It has a yuge food section with a cold food section. The place is PACKED with inventory. Jammed packed! They have a yuge home goods section & all their Halloween merchandise out, plus, they already have all their Christmas merchandise out too. There were candles everywhere but not the ones I love, ugh. Recommend.”
“I'm a CSL plasma platinum member and as a Olympic trained athlete as a young man, I always consider actions as a win win for all parties involved, so I can purchase a small list of items that are cash only and receive cash back to pay bills without a electronic payment fee. As a frugal consumer I research then buy what is usable and lasting. This is win win win as it shows my efforts to buy USAade goods that last and do my part I'm keeping things usable out of the dump”
“Best DG in the area, I go in there all the time just to stare at the hot employee Connor. He always asks me if I need help and I’m too speechless to respond and then we stare at each other awkwardly, I do it at least once a week. I try to leave notes around the store for him, I hope he finds them”

“It's my favorite one in Pensacola. Employees are polite and friendly. Sometimes my favorites are out of stock. Most of the time the line flows fast. WIsh they would bring back the other registers or an extra employee on the weekends to ring up purchases.”
“Love hittin up ALL the DG's! Every since I found the little cotton cushions for $5 I have to go to every one I can find to look for more! They fit so nicely in all my chairs and Kitty LOVES them! They are 100% cotton, made in India. Completely washable, I wash Skippers fave one all the time, he's a little hairball fun muffin. I also found a few cute little washable rugs at this location I love. Im still looking for more of the cotton chair cushions for my other house. We will be traveling there soon for a brief vacation & I would love to find at least 5 more!!!! I'm going to put Skippers fave one in his kitty carrier so he will be comfy cozy on the trips back & fourth. Love DG! Will return!”

“LOVE! Cute little DG right off Gulf beach highway on the way to the Beach! This location is a free standing building with a yuge parking lot right off GBH easy in & out with excellent service! The ladies that work here greeted us upon arrival, were very professional, chatty & upbeat, checked us out smiles all around. Love happy people that enjoy their workday. :)) Very nice DG & it was packed to the gills with inventory, lots of beachy stuff, floats, chairs, tikis, BBQ goodies, pool noodles which is exactly what we were looking for! We found the MEGA pool noodles, some floats, and tons of snacks for the beach. They have an enormous food section with beer & wine! Hubby even found something for our kitties! haha. We both agreed this was a great stop for the beach! Will return! Highly recommend!”
“Right in between Tuesday Morning & TJMAXX there is a Dollar General on Davis highway. One day pressed for time I popped in there to grab some cat food & found a very cool little chair cushion that fits my custom made rod iron patio chairs I had made in Texas! LOVE! Sooooooo adorable!!! $4.99! EACH !!! (Usually chair cushions cost $16-30 a piece for these chairs! What a bargain) But, there was only one! Nooooooooo! So I went to every Dollar General I could find looking for these cute little cushions. After weeks of searching, I finally found all 4! Miracles do happen. LOL Anyway, they are 100% cotton, machine washable, cuz skipper (hairball man) loves sitting shotgun with mommy every morning at brekkie on the new patio daddy built for us. So comfy! Sooooo cozy! Purrrrrrrrrfect! Hahah hahaha hahaha :)) Anyway, I just want to say I LOVE Dollar General now, ALL of them!!! LOL Highly recommend!”

“Kind of a fun funky place, but every location I've ever been to is a ghost town for some reason. Yeah it's a dollar store but it's a more hip dollar store that's a bit more stylish and adult than Five Below and a bit more modern than Dollar General (this place's parent company). If nothing else it's worth frequenting over the competition because it's clean, the employees are nice and there is more than one on duty at a time!”
