I've always been active with my investing and had no problems with the transition from TD Ameritrade. I like the CS website for research and investing and have been active with it.
I did get an appointment with the local rep in Pensacola, FL to discuss a possible transfer of a large annuity to CS and was transferred to an annuity specialist who advised me to keep this annuity.
It appeared to me that they're not staffed to accommodate smaller accounts, with one-on-one personal meetings. The guy behind me had a multimillion-dollar account to discuss transferring to CS. The trading cost seems reasonable to me and maybe that's how CS keeps their overhead down?

I don’t like the transition from a great company (TDAmeritrade ) to Schwab! Had I wanted an account with Schwab I would have gone there!

If you need help with account service, you will be disappointed. Local advisors are for accounts that they collect fees off, not for account services.

Never go with this financial institution. I got transfer from TDAMERITRADE. When I created user and password, I took note. My note is still there, but nothing is correct. I called to schedule an appointment near my location, but I still have to wait for them to call me back to schedule for me. What is the hell of this service? Definitely, will find the best time to transfer my account investment to another financial institution

Was looking for a financial consultation and called for an appointment...a week later, after no response, we called the company number and they said that the office would call...now, 14 days later, it's still radio silence. Since they're this unresponsive, I certainly wouldn't allow them to manage my fortune. We're definitely considering moving our investments from Charles Schwab & Co., too

Called the Pensacola office 3 times, never got a call back from a consultant.Joined on-line and very satisfied with the corporate people on phone and chat.Seems to me everyone is saying the Pcola people are less than helpful.How many terrible reviews do you need?

AVOID Charles Schwab at all costs!!!!!!!!!They will actively work against you, NOT for you!!!!! Tryed to give our accounts away without letting us even know!!!! Will not contact you, or work with you.. . . . .
