Do NOT trust your money with this financial institution. My card got compromised and over $600 was stolen. I made the dispute claim. They told me it would take up to 3 WEEKS to get my money back. Needless to say, I’m making a deposit today with a different institution. Hope this helps. BEWARE.

Just an update, it is 48 hours later and Caitlin who said the only way to stop payment is for her to email me a signed and NOTARIZED form, HAS NOT emailed me the form. Thus, she gave me an impossible task and never planned to do her job and email me the form to stop the fraudulent activity. I believe she is the one that didn't place the stop on my account originally and why she is dragging feet on apologizing, solving and fixing the issue. The vendor even told her in writing to reverse the charge. I have moved my 6+ figure account somewhere else. Clearly these employees play in your account and don't take ownership to fix their mistakes. Yet, if 3 people are working at 12:47pm on Monday, you should be able to narrow down who took that call and who failed to stop a payment and FIX IT REGARDLESS! The burden shouldn't be on the customer for your staffing issues or lack of aptitude at performing key job tasks in the banking industry.

I have been banking with CCU for 35 years and I have always been a exemplary customer with substantial savings being managed by CCUFL. A problem arose on a separate account and when it was brought to the attention of their bank, we received inaccurate information as to how to have fraudulent activity removed. First, we ask that a stop payment be made on a pending charge. The bank says, that they cannot see it and to call back when and if it posts and instead the bank should have flagged my account and denied payment when it attempted to take the money. The bank failed to make the stop payment. Then, when the payment posted the next day, the bank insisted that they could not reverse the ACH which amounted to over $2500. 1st they insisted that a notarized form had to be completed. Then, they called back and said that there was nothing that they could do. Then, they went back to the original plan, complete the notarized form. Why did they not trust me that the payment was a mistake? CCU insisted that a form would have to be completed, notarized, and sent back to them by COB which by this time and I was out of town on business, it would be impossible to complete. Even the company that posted the inaccurate ACH was asking that the bank reverse/deny the charges and the bank insisted that the only way to reverse the draft was the notarized form which she promised to email multiple times on multiple calls and it never was sent. I have never in my 45 years of banking spoken with a bank and not have the charges reversed when you tell a bank that the payment is fraud or wrong or not your charge. This bank proved to me that they don't care to protect your funds and instead will just payout even if it is fraudulent activity. Paramount, this bank will not value you as a customer, will not own their mistakes, and they will not protect your money. Consequently, I have taken my money elsewhere and I would suggest that you do the same.

I would like to thank the entire team at the Pensacola Central Credit Union of Florida for a great experience. Barbara MacNeil helped me first in promoting their services and special promotions and encouraged me to apply. She emailed me an application and upon completion referred me to Regina Mosley at the call center. I had several contacts with Regina which was very warm, helpful and in the end bore fruit. Regina helped to arrange a meeting with Kendall Burton from the Cordova Branch where the loan was finalized. I really felt like I was dealing with family through the entire process. Ms. Burton even helped me to set up an app on my iPhone to access my new accounts and made sure I was comfortable with the app before I left. The experience I had is what a great model of "customer service" should look like. I am indeed a new customer, and I gladly recommend the great folks at Central Credit Union for your banking needs!

I'm a new member at Central. I came in for an auto loan and my experience was amazing the process was quick and easy. With the exception of filling out the initial application and finishing paperwork everything was done remotely. Dakota Watkins was a wealth of knowledge and help and really makes sure you get a loan that will work for you and be happy with your financing. 20/10 would recommend them.
