This bookstore is fantastic. They have a wide variety of books, and you can find almost anything you need. They also carry all versions of the Bible, making it a great place to choose your books. The environment is also very pleasant.

I love this place. I have been a long time customer and have almost always found whatever book, manga, or comic I was looking for.
I do miss when they used to have more places you could just sit down and read, but it's still a wonderful store with excellent staff.

Great book selection and found what we needed but the older lady at the front was rather judgmental about our choices and made it very obvious and rude. Probably won't come back just for that

me and my girlfriend were at books a million ordering coffee. the general manager was ringing us up for our coffee and the total came to $12 and some change. my girlfriend gives him a crisp $20 and tells him to keep the change. we go sit and wait for our coffee at a table. he walks up to our table about 8 minutes later and tells us word for word “ i put the bill under a lamp and it wasn’t reading right” but was holding the bill against himself where we couldn’t see it and hands my girlfriend a fake worn down $20 which was different than the bill we gave him and asks her if she has a different $20. she gave him a different $20 and kept what she thought was the $20 she initially gave to the general manager; paying for the coffee we ordered. we then realized later after we left books a million that the $20 was fake. the moment i grabbed the fake $20, i knew it was a counterfeit bill; it felt obviously fake, like plastic paper. i then closely examined the fine print on the fake $20 and notice how in little print it says “for motion picture use” and “replica”. i flip it over to see how obviously pixelated the print is. we even checked it with a counterfeit marker at a restaurant (which is our place of work) and the marker turned black on the counterfeit bill. i then go back to books a million, confront the general manager about it and the general manager proceeds to lie to my face and attempt to gaslight me into thinking my girlfriend gave him a fake $20. he said he checked the fake $20 with a counterfeit marker and it came up clear (which i understand can happen time to time when checking money) and it wasn’t until he put the fake $20 under a lamp for the general manager to realize it was fake. but it still doesn’t solve the problem of how we ended up with a fake $20 when my girlfriend gave the general manager a real and crisp $20. after he showed me the marker and marked it with the counterfeit pen they have at all cash registers in the store. i told him how crazy that was and before i could even finish what i was saying, he proceeded to quickly walk off while saying “not really” in the most smart a*s attitude. it was like he was trying to run away from the situation so he wouldn’t get caught. I even requested to see the cameras but was denied which wasn’t helping the case at all. there is no doubt in my mind that he purposely gave my girlfriend back a fake $20 attempting to try and trick us into thinking we gave him a fake $20. general store managers around the world can establish a lot of power in whatever company or store they are in charge of. they also have the ability to abuse that power to their liking. i’m very disappointed and dissatisfied that a general manager would do such a thing and get away with it with no remorse. the general manager saw that we were young and profiled us thinking that we wouldn’t notice and would let it be. i highly recommend to stay away from this books a million, it is being ran by a unprofessional, incompetent human being. DO BETTER!!!
