Been going here since they opened. Great place for to of the line tools. They also sharpen bits and other things like some blades.As a retired contractor I learned early on that if you buy a top notch tool and you care for it, it can last for generations.

I've been a customer here for a little more than a year, pushing two years as a small business (woodworker) in the northwest corner of Escambia County, just over two hour round trip. I've spent quite a bit of money here instead of spending it at Rockler or Woodcraft or Gulf Coast Tools in Foley (which is just as far) when I can. Never had a bad experience until today, and as they say, all it takes is once to go from hero to zero. I had been looking at buying some high speed steel lathe gouges here for some time and this store had a nice set that came in a case but had been a little more than I wanted to spend. I went in this morning to get them. As I'm looking at the tools, that were in a case, that was in a cardboard box, a woman comes up to me and takes the case out of my hand and condescendingly asks me if I knew touching metal makes them rust? Considering each individual gouge was in a plastic case, I ensured her I knew but before I could proceed in telling her I needed to see what was inside the box and making sure it was complete before I gave her my money she turned and walked away back to the register. I sent the business a Facebook message hoping for some resolve and hop to lure me back but the reply back was the same as what the woman had told me about the store policy about customers not being allowed to touch metal, a policy that's not in a place for customers to see. They've lost me as a customer. Too bad as the men that work here have always been exceptional and knowledgeable

Calene was absolutely amazing. She worked with me to pick out the exact stopsaw for my needs, provided education on the spot with differences between stopsaw and other table saws AND called me back a week and a half after my puchase to follow up to see how i liked the saw. Absolutely amazing customer service. Other places could take a page from their book!

This place is Great! If you do Any wood working or Anything on a CNC machine they have most anything you need. Bits, lathes, sanders, sandpaper. They are Super friendly! Jokes with you. Great people!

Such a great place for all your wood working needs. Literally everything. If they didn't have it, they would get it. They had a HUGE selection of Whiteside router bits, and provided a take home catalog for their other bits. I had simple questions about some of drop in router tables and the nicer standalone types, they provide A LOT of information on all of it. Also, they offered me coffee which that alone, for some reason was a big deal for me. It was very kind and brought me back to what customer service and that homey feeling was like.

This is one of the best dealers I have ever visited. They are in the business of quality, customer service. The floor stock was amazing and the salesman knew exactly what he was talking about. I will be outfitting my shop with them.

The store manager and owners are extremely knowledgeable, courteous and helpful,a great iced coffee also!I had several tools on my mind to add to my shop and I found them on the shop floor. A decent amount of tools on-site and ordering different was painless.I will definitely use Blackwater as my new go to supply store!
