I love our state parks. The problem with this one is that the gator signs should be in the parking lot not out somewhere you might not see it. Also the trail we took said loop and it was not a loop it ended in the parking lot. Not good.

Cheap entry ($6 per vehicle I think?) and we hiked around and floated with some wild dolphins in the lagoon. Beautiful views, lots of herons and bugs to go see.

We were excited about renting a paddle boat or kayak because the website said it was available only to find out they haven’t done this since hurricane Sally Update your page! Florida you can do better

3rd time staying here, we book the same site each time. Sites are big, and most provide privacy between campers.

1/3 of the new boat launch dock is already destroyed. Bathrooms at boat ramp are nice. But the roads are in terrible condition. Why can't a public resource be maintained daily instead of next to never?

Beautiful park! Hands down the cleanest park I have ever been to, even the restrooms were spotless. We rented bikes and toured the park for about 2.5 hours. Beautiful views and very peaceful. The park was not crowded and seemed a little “off the beaten path.” We had a great experience. The staff around were friendly and obviously took pride in caring for the park.
