On August 12, 2020:I used the drive-thru (no lobby access) to deposit a cashier's check. After waiting 20 minutes, the clerk came back to ask me where I got the check from because she couldn't verify it. I told her that I withdrew the funds from my Navy Federal account and she repeated that she could not verify it. I told her that I needed my check back and she did not move, just stood in the window smiling. She then asked what branch and I told her the branch on 9 Mile Rd. She just kept that same blank-eyed stare and smile, and said "Sorry". I had to motion for her to send the check back before she finally did. When I looked back at the window, she was still staring me down as if I was trying to cash a fake check. Humiliated, with tears in my eyes, and shaking hands I drove back to Navy Federal.I have never had a problem depositing large cashiers' checks when purchasing my cars and homes until this experience at the 12th Ave. Pensacola BB&T branch. I also wanted to open two new accounts, but I am withdrawing my money and I will never use BB&T again. It is disappointing that out of my last 4 years with BB&T originating in Fairfax VA, Pensacola has single-handedly ruined my experience and lost me as a customer. Not to my surprise, about 20 minutes later, the Navy Federal on 9 Mile Rd. in Pensacola was happy to deposit the funds back into my account without any interrogations or humiliation. I also have Navy Federal receipts showing that the deposits and withdrawal. I will not be back to BB&T, but I will definitely spread the word so that other women do not have the same experience, no matter the location of the branch or lack of management or customer service experience.

We are FT travelers. We needed bank documents and had no appt for the lobby today. However, the VP Stephen Kerr came outside and received our documents. I spent 40 yrs in management and thus was impressed by Steve's friendly and professional manner. Highly recommend this bank branch.

My experience with this bank was down right wrong and shameful for there unprofessional work ethic behind there Prejudice action throweds me. Employees and bank manger was every unprofessional and they need to be corrected on all level so this won’t happen to another citizen of this community white black or Asian or any other ethic in life. God bless those who are behind there actin of treatment.. I’m taking these matter higher so others won’t have to deal with matters like this. Great bank but poor management and people skills

I love BB&T and today I was given another reason! I was out of deposit tickets and couldn't figure out where my account # was. It was almost 5, but that didn't stop Jessica! She printed me a few slips so I would have some ready for next time! Just awesomeness! Thanks Jessica!
