A nice treat for your dogs to enjoy the water.We spent our day at the regular park, while I flew around and adjusted settings for my next video.Playground: Still doing some construction on and around. Not enough to bother anyone enjoying their time at the park.Picnic area: Pubic areas with cover and tables. Nice place for a picnic.

Absolutely the best dog park EVER! The beach is an awesome treat for them...I know blosm enjoyed that the most. The park has plenty of seating and isn't too big that you can't see your pooch! Not too s.all, that they are crowding one another. Highly recommend! Especially during summer heat.Highly Recommend!

Great fenced in space for dogs on the beach and with big grass space. It also has play things and fencing about 30 ft out into the water. Located in bayview Park all along the bayou with clean restrooms, community center/event space and boat launch. There are several parking lots and/or you can park on the street near 20th and lloyd streets with easy walk to dog park.Playground: Kids playground is up the hill from waterside dog park.Restrooms: CleanDog-friendliness: Fence in area on waterPicnic area: Lots of shaded tables on big flat spot just uphill near restrooms.

Go here with your dog(s) we love it here! Skip the beach and head over to the Bay. In our opinion a lot more dog friendlier and our dogs personally prefer the water since there are no waves. Also bonus everyone we meet here is completely over the top in love with dogs.

Nice open beach with a washing station. There is another dog park at the park so you can let your pup run around after to dry off!

If you are looking for somewhere to take your dog, I highly recommend the Bayview Dog Beach. That is if you don’t mind your dog getting wet and sandy. Bayou Texar is calm area of water ( at least while we were there) free from the waves that come when visiting the dog parks on the gulf.The park is a unleashed area, there is seating in the shade, a bucket of balls to throw, freshwater, and it’s fenced so you don’t have to worry too much about your dog.My dog had a blast. Swimming, running, rolling in the sand, and just being a dog. This is a great place. Try it. Your dog will thank you.

Our doggo had an absolute blast. Dogs were friendly, owners were friendly. It felt like a true family place to be.Edit: Last trip to the beach and all previous comments regarding the maintenance had been addressed. Awesome job.

Great little dog park on the water. There's plenty of seating options for the humans, and even a little obstacle training course. It's not divided by big or little dogs, so keep that in mind. The best part is the dog rinsing station right before you leave. I love taking my puppers here!

Thankful that there is such an opportunity for dogs to enjoy the beach. But evidently the park is frequented by many low class owners who don’t pick up after their pets. There are feces everywhere in the grassed area! .

Great little area, enough shady spots for the humans to sit if wanted. They have a shower off station and some free tennis balls usually. Great experience, clean, would easily recomment to anyone with a 4 legged friend.
