After buying a new home in Pensacola we decided to put new carpet in each of the 4 bedrooms. Being new to Pensacola (and Florida) we went with one of the big stores who said it could be installed the day after we closed, before we moved in. The week before installation, we received a call it couldn’t be done by that date but a week later. We went to the other big store (you all know the 2 stores I mean) and they referred us to Act 1 ~ that in and of itself was impressive. We called right then and there, spoke with Dakota (a charming young man) and he asked if we could come in; we went right over. He was completely sensitive to our dilemma and showed us the carpet we could have installed 7 days later. He knew exactly what would work best for us and made sure that particular carpet snd color were available (one that we actually liked better). Though they didn’t want to use the other company’s measurements, they did simply to get the installation done so quickly. We also spoke with Adam, the owner, who was as delightful as Dakota. They did a beautiful job with our carpet; left no mess and even vacuumed. It’s nicer than we would have gotten and the difference in price was negligible (less than $100 on a $6K job). When we’re ready to redo all of the tile and lvp in the rest of the house we wouldn’t dream of using anyone else. This family business cares about its customers and goes above and beyond. Dakota is absolute perfection; knowledgeable and understanding and Adam is just the same. The rest of the staff is lovely ~ they care about their customers just like they care about each other; they’re family.

I highly recommend Act 1 for your all your flooring needs. Ashley was very informative and professional. They all made me feel like I was important to them. The two gentlemen that installed my floors did a phenomenal job. So if you need new flooring go see Ashley at Act 1

Easy decision to give Act 1 Flooring 5 stars. I had LVP flooring put down in the master bedroom. The floor looks great!! From start to finish Act 1 Flooring was very helpful and great to work with. I highly recommend Act 1 Flooring!!

Thank you to Act 1 Flooring for their GREAT customer service! I brought very good customers to the store and within 15 minutes, we had product picked out and had them scheduled for measuring and installation very quickly. Having a company be owned and run by a family allows you to be treated like family! Love this company and their employees!

Would 100% recommend the Act 1 Flooring team. We replaced ancient carpet with lvp. From my first call I received a prompt reply from Adam. He quickly came and measured to give me an accurate estimate. Adam also worked to get the materials price down which was very much appreciated. In the store John was amazingly helpful and informative with lvp selection and explaining the difference between them. The install team Nick & Craig were on time, professional, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. My request for caulking around the hearth where the trim piece meets hearth and there was a gap - was taken care of before we settled up the bill. Don't hesitate to use Act 1 for all your flooring needs. Very professional and together company! Loving my new floor - it makes the biggest impact.

I couldn't be happier with my flooring installation by Act 1 flooring. The price of the flooring was great. The installation schedule was amazingly quick, the very next day. Ashley worked with me on the project planning. She was amazingly knowledgeable and absolutely delightful. To my delight everyone at Act 1 were delightful and easy to work with. They made me feel that my business was genuinely appreciated. Act 1 stood behind the work by immediately coming back to correct a minor problem with a small piece of quarter round not properly secured to the baseboard. No waiting and no excuses, only timely remediation. I definitely recommend Act 1 for floor sales qnd installation. Good price, good work and delightful employees. I will be a repeat customer.

We love the Act 1 team! Adam and his team got us scheduled quickly and sent us the best installers. Both guys were attentive to the details and went out of their way to give us the look we wanted (and that meant raising our exterior door to ensure the new floors wouldn’t get scratched like the previous floors did. Cannot recommend them enough!!

This is a great family owed and ran company. We have purchased floors more than once from them. They are friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, helpful and work great with any budget. This is the flooring that we purchased for our church. It has transformed our space. If you are in the market for new floors (or counters, backsplashes, bathroom remodels, etc…)I would highly recommend this company.

We went to a few flooring places in search of a replacement tile with no luck. Act 1 had one but none in stock. They just gave me the floor sample at no cost. Very nice of them. Highly recommend

Loved working with Adam and the team! We had a pre-fabricated floor tile design that needed piecing together and installing for our outside entryway. They handled the removal of old tile, re-pouring foundation, and the install like pros! It looks great and was done efficiently and timely.
