I am giving a 5 star since this is a nice academy, and, the teachers are extremely nice and helpful. I wanted to give a 4 star but that is because there are men who live out front of the building at night and seem to deal drugs...this is NOT the school's fault so I left it as a 5. This is a city issue. And unfortunately it is a safety issue as well. I hope the city clears them out so that the area is safe and that the academy, it's teachers and students, do not get hurt.

Tzu Chi Academy is a very special place that I am so happy to have found for our young daughter to learn Chinese. We lived in China for several years where our daughter was born and wanted to find a place since our return to the US where she could continue to learn the language. But this place has done so much more for all of us than just teach Chinese language, but also build a true sense of community and service and an appreciation for Chinese culture and promoting moral education, such as through the learning of Jin Si Aphorisms - inspiring words of wisdom to live by. Thank you Tzu Chi Academy and all your amazing teachers, administrators and volunteers who go above and beyond in your service to our communities and to people in need all around the world!

What a beautiful experience! We had a great lecture about the mission of the school. Afterwards, there was a delicious vegetarian meal.
