Rude jewelry employee. Went to pick out some earring for my granddaughter. Waited 20 minutes while employee was helping another lady. My turn was next. When the lady finished her purchase, the employee looked right at me as 2 women walked up to counter. The employee proceeded to open glass case and help them. I did not want to make a scene so I dropped all items and just walked out store. Went to the East Pembroke Pines store. As usual was a pleasant experience.

Yes thats right lets hire ex dmv employees and put them as cashiers. What could possibly go wrong?

Nice clean environment with plenty of parking. Clothes, beauty, home decor at discounted prices.

No matter how many cashiers are available, the lines are always stressful. Otherwise, I'd give 5 stars. Maybe other people are luckier and find the store with better lines "traffic".

I was accused and harassed by an employee who claimed that I swung my tote bag and knocked off multiple makeup products off the shelves on purpose to destroy them. Mind you, it was only two lipstick products which were in plastic containers that I dropped off the shelves while accidentally trying to pass between the shelves, unknowingly that my tote bag on the side of my hip will had knocked some stuff over which I promptly put back and apologized for. I would understand if it was a makeup palette or a glass product which I would pay for damages but this is ridiculous and greedy behavior. Accusing my poor deaf mother that it was her fault for me knocking multiple (it was TWO) items and me for being a rowdy child. My mom doesn't understand how loud sound is and doesn’t speak English. The employee, with blond hair and black rimmed glasses confronted my mom and said it was loud and said impolite words. A shame that TJ Maxx can’t even practice common decency.

This store is in a good plaza and the line ran smoothly and quickly on a Sunday afternoon. I cannot really comment fully on the associates on sales floor because I don't think I saw many? I did have an issue with a manager's response to an inquiry. Now that I've looked at the Yelp page, I don't think I should have been surprised. I asked about lowering the price on an item that was obviously scuffed up. It was marked down some but I do not believe it was much from the same new/like new item. Which I would've bought instead but it wasn't the same color. The cashier that I asked was very pleasant, nice, and patient. The first store leader/manager she checked in with was working with another customer and we were asked to wait, though she did take a moment to look at the item. Before she was available, another manager happened to walk past. That's where this experience turned. This manager barely glanced at the item. She was clipped and short, with the associate who asked and also with me, the customer directly in front of their interaction. I'm understanding why the cashier seemed hesitant to even ask a manager. I was very nice throughout and bought the item. But I did leave with an unsavory taste in mouth. Especially due to while I was purchasing the item, the original store lead/manager we spoke with asked if I wanted the TJ Maxx credit card to get 10% off. The same 10% off that she can manually put in. Why would I want go out of my way to assist a location that I didn't feel assisted in? That's not how you remedy a situation or keep customers. I'm a hoarder by nature but don't need to get anything else there. As someone who is also a manager in a customer service related field, I recommend more guest relations training. Because it is okay to fake pleasantries, even if you're not in a good mental space or are tired of people asking for things. But it is not okay to have a customer leaving feeling as if you negatively impacted their day.
