I stopped by to "pet" the puppies and left with the most adorable puppy! I love her so much. It was love at first sight. As i am writing this she is sitting on my lap. Thanks Brenda and Nataly you all are the best!

i could honestly say i had a horrible experience, my husband bought a toy poodle form here for mother's day it was $2,380 it was on special for mothers day. When i took the puppy home we didn't know how old it was, we also noticed he was dry heaving. we made an appointment with the vet they sent us to, just to find out he had parasites and was 4 months old Missing his 3&4 month shots. when they told us he was fully vaccinated. we had to pay outta pocket for the vaccines, when i let the owner know he paid for one dose for the parasite medication which wasn't enough because he needed two doses to finally be free of the parasite. this parasite puppy get it when they eat poop but i noticed this puppy doesn't eat his poop, i've bought dogs from a lot of people and have never had this issue. i believe they need to be cleaner and be more clear with people because if you sell me a 4month dog the decent thing to do is give him his shots not wait till he's sold to give it to him. especially if i'm paying over 2 grand for this dog. we were going to get a female but with all this drama and the vet bills we had to pay it's not worth it. Also, as the dog has grown i've noticed he had signs of abuse he is very scared and skittish took a lot of love and care to get him to the happy puppy he is but yet the trauma is still there. i regret buying a puppy at this store or any store. we bought another toy poodle at someone's house and you could see the difference between a dog that was loved and one that was abused. this owner doesn't care about his dogs he only cares about the money. I suggest everyone buys from a person who you could see they care about the dog.

After going to another local store this shop was a breath of fresh air. I called looking for a specific puppy. All my questions were answered, and a reasonable price was given to me over the phone. My wife and I went into the store and were immediately greeted by the staff and were shown the puppy we had called about. We immediately fell in love. We have had Pip for 2 months now and he is doing great. They even offer boarding services that we have utilized when going on a weekend trip. I more than recommend The Puppy Guru. They take great care of their pups, and it shows.

If you want a puppy , here is the best place to get one . It’s really worth it the fact that they offer a puppy with all to date shots ,Microchipped , and 1 year free vet so much more !, I fell in love with the place overall. I wasn’t planning on getting a puppy but I was sold when I met my Bailey ❤️, the staff is amazing , they made my experience so much better , they also allow me to FaceTime my fur baby so much on , please I cannot stress this enough this is where you get puppies with great prices that are 100%%%%%% worth it .

I adopted a toy poodle two weeks ago in puppy guru of Pembroke . She had giardia and I called the store . Brenda apologies and she even said they need to closed for several days because they didn’t know which puppies are infected and which don’t !I’m taking legal actions on this . I paid 2,000 for a healthy dog and they continue selling sick dogs !My lawyer will contact them because that is NOT acceptable . If My puppy will need more treatment they will need to respond .

First time at Pet guru and it is so warm and welcoming. Brenda gave me all the information i needed to get a puppy. Everything was very clean and organized. I definitely recommend if it’s your first time getting a puppy. Very knowledgeable and patient.

I got my Winston (frenchie) from here and and I must say I have 0 complaints, he came in perfect health and such a sweet boy with all my other ones. I would most definitely recommend you buy yours from here and make sure you ask for Brenda as she was the best and made it all the most simple process I could ask for. Thanks to all you guys at the puppy guru.

When you get the puppy here, please make sure to check the vaccine schedule. My mom got me one and he was 2 weeks behind for his vaccines. Also, when my mom bought him he had watery eyes. She asked if that was because he had parasites or because of health issue and the lady said no and that after the bath it would go away. We've had him for a while now and it had never stop. On the second day home, we saw flatworms on his stool. We didn't receive information about the parents and specific generation. I love my puppy but it seems like I will have to do a lot of work to fix his health issues and behavioral issues.

I got a beautiful cavapoo from here a few weeks ago. One of the ladies there was really kind and patient and let me play with each puppy to see which would be a good fit. I told her what I was looking for and my daily life and told her that I was looking for an emotional support animal and she was helpful in giving me suggestions. At the end, I settled with the calmest sweetest puppy there which I don’t regret at all. This was my first puppy store ever and I will say playing with the puppies was amazing and a huge bonus for me.However, I would implore everyone else who shops for a puppy here to do their research first and not be as careless as I was. I bought the puppy on a weekend as they were about to close so the owner wasn’t there to answer any questions. Maybe if I waited he would’ve been able to help more and I wouldn’t have had such a bad first few weeks with my puppy. I got the dog to the vet the next business day after I got him and he already had a cough. I called the owner worried about it and was told “puppies get colds and not to worry”. I trusted him cause the staff seemed so competent and he seemed like he meant well. 2-3 days later the cough got worse and another vet (not the one they referred) told me my cavapoo had kennel cough. This was $300 for meds and an exam after spending $3000 on a puppy. Next the owner couldn’t tell me any information about my puppies parents at all. If you can charge someone $3000 for a puppy they should be able to leave with documentation about the parents health and genetic testing. Again, this was my fault as I stupidly didn’t ask before paying. But please don’t repeat my mistake. Cavapoos have a lot of health issues that can be genetic so me asking was to make sure I was aware so I could be proactive in my pups care. An amazing vet caught that my pup had the Merle gene which can come with health issues if bred incorrectly. I had to call the breeder on the form for any information on my pup and he was kinder and more willing to calm my fears than the owner here was.It was a very disappointing experience and after the owners odd behavior after asking for information about my pups parents, I felt very uncomfortable and wouldn’t contact him again. For a place that prides themselves on no puppy mills, you should be more transparent. Again I’m sure this review will be disputed or I’ll be called a liar because they seem to do that on all the lower star reviews. But I can post proof of purchase and vet records showing that my puppy had kennel cough days after coming home (he was not around any other pets). The puppies are beautiful and the staff are kind but please do research and ask about genetic info and parent conditions to make sure you can financially afford your pup if anything goes wrong later down the line. This is long but I hope it helps someone. I love my puppy so much and don’t regret him at all. I hope the owners read this and does more to calm new puppy owners fears especially when it comes to health. You should be glad someone wants to give a puppy a nice safe healthy home and values their health and not just how cute they are :/. I shouldn’t have to track down a breeder that you used to get information on my pup. I wasn’t even told the generation of my puppy.

Thankfully my boy is healthy so far but just disappointed I paid toy poodle price for a poodle that ended up being a miniature(12-13lbs full grown now at 1 yr and 4 months) . Highly recommend anyone who is purchasing a puppy to do their research. I also had an unpleasant experience with previous owner because just like the other negative reviewer Joanne, when I questioned him about my pups parents he never sent me the photos i requested and disappeared. To me that's just shady business but I'm glad my boy has been overall healthy and beautiful. And maybe now with these supposedly new owners things will be more transparent. Otherwise my puppy buying experience was great with the staff when I purchased back in Sept 2022 but I would be careful what you're buying and don't be afraid to ask questions!

My boyfriend and I had been looking around where to find a puppy that fit our needs and wants & came across The Puppy Guru. Originally I wanted a MGD boy, We went to go see what puppies were available and at the time they only had girl MGD puppies but I fell in love so we went back the next day to pick up our puppy. Ashley and Matt were extremely nice, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. Same goes for the owner, Devin. He reassured me that our puppy was coming from love. We also got the “puppy package” which definitely saved us from having to stop somewhere to get the basics - puppy food, a crate, a bed, blanket, toys and waste bags. Took Remy to the vet and she got a clean bill of health. She’s been great from day one, super friendly, calm and loving. I’m so happy that we were able to bring her home. Definitely recommend using The Puppy Guru. A big plus is that we didn’t have to sign a crazy contract forcing us to getting our puppy fixed, they left it to be our choice. We’re also not forced into a promotional contract where they get to use our pictures and videos for advertising allowing for privacy if we wanted it.
