worst place i ever been at, the security and association plp are the worst people to have working in this place. I have felt disrespected and insulted many times. There is a big problem with the security at the gate. Once they did not allowed me to come in. I had to wait in the gate for other person to pick me up to enter. Neighbors are way too noisy and they do not mind their business. The parking lot is the worst BEING A OWNER AND HAVING TO PARK IN A GUESS PARK? A WHOLE 1-2 miles away from the building??? they could do better. The building needs maintenance everything is old, pls hire new people and update everything. The rules are incredible ridiculous, stop worrying abt the rules and worry the plp.

Worst association I’ve ever lived in. A million rules that nobody even obeys, found a crack pipe at one of the pools, the HOA fee is through the roof, buildings are old and out of style. Can not wait to move out

I own a unit & live here with my adult kid. It’s nice, I like it. Everyone seems nice. There are a lot of rules, but it’s a minor inconvenience

I am an owner together with my mother of one of the apartments at Park Place. I do not live there but my mother does. She has been living there for the last 15 years. I have a dog who is my emotional support, I can't visit my mother with my dog unless she is approved and registered before the HOA as an Emotional Support Animal. I applied and submitted all documents requested in August of this year, days later I received a letter stating that the Doctor's letter is incomplete and that the letter "specifically needs to include how my emotional support animal relieves or eliminates my illness". I had a consultation with another Doctor and after diagnosing me, he provided another letter, I submitted this new letter days ago. Yesterday I received another letter from the HOA stating the same thing, that I need to provide more information about how my dog alleviates my illness. My doctor says the letter complies with all legal requirements. I went to the office today to speak with the HOA Vice-President but she was gone for the day. Then, an employee named Samantha told me in a very defiant and rude manner that the letter is incomplete, that I am not complying with Park Place's rules, I asked, do I have to include medical information? and she told me YES, I told her, well I do not think that is legal. I am going to complaint with HUD, and in a very defiant manner she move her shoulders and told me "Do it". I was trying not to discuss, and this Samantha, who is very disrespectful, told me "do not overworked, I am seeing that you are". I told her she was very rude, and she replied back to me, saying I am the rude one and "have a good day". I don't know how the HOA can keep so a rude person in the reception. How she dares to talk to an owner like that, she makes you feel like you are nothing there, that she is in command and empowered. She challenges and can make the most peaceful person lose patience, and that is what she did to me today. I will follow my Doctor's suggestion and will filed a discrimination complaint before the HUD.

The vast majority of the security guards are Haitian and unprofessional. Park Place Owner's Association needs to clean house.

Any accurate description for this place other than HORRIBLE is a lie.I'm a Realtor and I just sold an unit there and the whole experience was awful!!From the door to the office staff they are all unprofessionals and extremely rude.Laws and proceedings are ridiculuos!!At the start of the transaction the HOA office staff called my client and told her to use another realtor(one of their recomendation),needless to say this behavior is ILLEGAL.They made this whole transaction a living HELL for all involved.After closing the buyer and new owner of the unit in question requested from the Office the keys for the storage and his mail box,Seller passed away so his family is not in possession of this keys and the HOA is aware of this,they told my client he can ask for the storage keys from one of the residents and that they cannot provide the mail box keys,HIS rightfully mail box keys.This is outrageous.

They have the security guards wearingface masks while patrolling or riding the golf cart around the community when it's like 90° outside , how crazy !It's not like they are in a crowd of people .

I applied for a job that looked very promising, but because I missed the phone call (the same day) they never called back. Sad to say I guess I don't fit like some, and obvious there not very nice as some would have it.

All I can say is do your research and asks other residents within the community. I wish we did before proceeding to buy in this community. After moving my parents in and speaking to most residents particularly at 1000 Saint Charles Place, everyone seems to be on one accord of the improper and dated policies of the association and the unprofessionalism and inconsistencies in security upon entry. Residents have described this place as “Hell” and I quote.

I don't personally live here but recently I wished that i had gotten in when I had the chance. The grounds and surrounding areas have been transformed in recent months. When we visited over Christmas I was so happy to see that front drive in such a festive theme. I inquired with one of my housekeeping friends and she told me that the new Grounds Department Manager Scott B. is the reason the place looks so fantastic. I haven't met Scott yet but I cant wait to shake his hand. My elderly friends are so happy to be able to see out their windows again and feel the fresh breezes again. The grounds look like a botanical garden with all the fresh growing flowers. The property is simply beautiful.
