Today was a consult meeting. I made an appointment with Mary for color, cut, and blow dry. My current stylist doesn’t listen to what I want. I’m confident that I will be happy because Mary and I discussed ideas and she has a plan that I like!
Hair type: I have fine hair and not a lot of it. Mary knows just how to cut and blow dry my hair so it looks smooth, pretty, and shiny.

This place is amazing! As a first time client I was blown away with how clean and nice the salon is! I requested to have a complete transformation of my hair with Lola…SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! She pays attention to your hair, what you want and don’t want, explains things along the way of the entire process, and is overall and amazing stylist!! I can’t wait to go back and have services with her again!

I came in today to get a color consultation and was expecting to get my hair bleached and dyed. I have black hair and want a lighter brown. Randy sat me down and started explaining the process. I show her the picture of the color I want, and she starts telling me that the photo is not accurate and that this color isn’t exactly what I am looking for. She started confusing me a lot. Told me I wanted more of a golden color when really I wanted amber. She started saying things like you have to really think about this and it started making me doubt what I wanted. She went in spirals telling me that no I don’t what that color, that this and that. She started mentioning highlights when I never had that in my head. She started telling me that that would be a whole other process when I already had a plan in mind. She also told me that the golden color would wear off, so I asked what the color would eventually look like, she said that she had no idea because everyone is different. So now I didn’t even know what she was going to do with my hair. I was getting really confused. She then told me to come back one hour and a half later to get the bleach done and that it was going to take 3-4 hours. I didn’t understand why I had to come back when I was already there. I ask her if she has another day available and she says next week. I tell her if anyone else is available and she said that I shouldn’t expect everyone to have availability. Honestly this was a very confusing and condescending “color consultation” so I told her that I might have to go to another salon, she had already left and I was left talking to myself until I realized she walked away. Absolutely rude. I came in with full intention had the color ready and she confused me and made me doubt my decision. I really don’t understand her approach but it’s rude and condescending. For this I give a 1 star. On top of that I was expected to pay about $370. This was my second time going and she wanted me to go a third time just to go from black to brown. I am very disappointed. Not good service.

I'm just back from Maggie The Salon.
I really like the way Hunter operates. Besides being friendly, warm and accommodating, he is very talented, and he listens to what I want. He cut and styled my hair just the way I wanted it. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Hunter.

I am very pleased with the outcome. I had researched the grey process from 8 months. I was very scared to take the plunge. I searched the salon, read the reviews, called a few places. In the end visited this salon and met with my hairdresser for a consultation. She guided me correctly. Asked me to treat the hair before the actual day of the process. Today 12/23/23 I arrived at 9am and left at 5pm extremely happy with the outcome. I am letting my grey take over but needed the full treatment to correct my colored hair. Long day but so worth it. She reassured me everything would be fine and so appreciate dedicating the day to me as this is very tedious and focused job. It is ART. Thank you so much for taking care of me, encouraging and reassuring me that it would turn out great! It did. I will be back for my follow ups. The whole team at this salon is great!

I had an amazing experience with Hunter! He made me feel very welcome from the moment I walked in. My hair had suffered damage from bleach, and I was very disappointed with how my curls looked. Hunter knew exactly what to do to make me feel better and cut and styled my curls beautifully. I highly recommend Hunter for anyone needing a skilled and caring stylist.

Jasmine was wonderful! She revived my wavy/curls that I haven’t seen in 4 years since having kids! Her knowledge and honesty was greatly appreciated. I can tell she loves what she does and was well-educated on hair texture etc. Would definitely recommend. I’ve been coming to Maggie’s for years and I love the convenience and availability of their stylists- always had a good experience. The salon is always very clean.

I am very satisfied with my color and the service. I did not expect Hunter to nail the color that I wanted and he did. He was very nice and answered all my questions. The staff was very nice as well.

Hunter, you are fabulous! You knew exactly what I wanted & visualized the change I want to create.
