I would not give them 1 star for this review! This is the worst service I ever received. I have been waiting on my glasses for 3 months! No one can tell me what's going on. Now I'm fighting for my refund. I can't even speak to a person in charge just the receptionist!

Hidden gem. Amazing service. Many thanks to optometrist Laishe, who helped my daughter to get glasses just the very next day. She is very professional and extremely polite. Highly recommend!

Terrible experience! If you need your glasses done correctly and in a timely manner do not come here. I've been waiting for nearly 3weeks for my glasses to be complete and the customer service/ patient satisfaction is nonexistent in this optical. I've been to other JCPENNY Optical but this location is in desperate need of new management and new optometrist

Bad service. Stop pushing deals when people say no and greet your customers.

If it were possible to give a zero review to this place, I would give them just that. About two months ago, I decided to get my yearly contact lens exam here because it was the closest place my insurance recommended. The exam itself was unremarkable, there was a short wait and the optometrist was quick. She was in a hurry because she had to leave right after she said. When it came to payment, it went downhill. I asked questions about why she was charging me an extra $110 even though my insurance covered contact lens fitting. She rudely dismissed them saying that because I had astigmatism, it required multiple fitting trials and she had to charge me for 'premium fitting'. When I argued that my insurance clearly stated that the surcharge for premium fitting was $60, she dismissed me again saying that she was in a hurry to leave and that she needed to complete the exam first and would answer my questions later. As soon as the exam was over, she dashed out and never answered the questions. The staff in the office ended up charging me the $110, stating that the doctor fixed her own prices and they had no way to determine what the correct price should be. I went home with two trial lenses that day. The next day, I realized the prescriptions in the lenses did not match. I returned on a Sunday afternoon and the store was closed, despite the fact that it was a full hour after they were supposed to open. JC Penney managers called the person who was supposed to work countless times and she never showed up despite the fact that there were multiple customers waiting. After two hours, we all gave up and left. The next day I showed up and explained my issue to Samantha, the store manager, who argued again and tried to tell me that the mismatched lenses were actually just fine. The doctor was only in on the weekends and I would have to wait till the next weekend to see her. I persisted and asked her to look into the records to see if they matched the doctors notes. She reluctantly did and found out there was a discrepancy, as I had pointed out. She apologized effusively and gave me the right lenses. After trying the lenses, I returned to the store to see the doctor because I still had problems with them. She wasn't in that day, but Samantha gave me a new trial pair to tide me over till the next time she would be in. I made an appointment for the following weekend. When I returned for the appointment, the optometrist refused to see me. Even though I could actually see her from the waiting room, she sent Samantha out to tell me that there would be no point in seeing me today and that all she would be doing would be ordering some new lenses for me to try and having the store call me when they were in. This is after two months of hell and charging me $110 for premium fitting. It has been over two weeks now and I am yet to hear from the store about the lenses. Save your time and your money. This place is terrible! If my insurance would refund my visit cost, I would go right ahead and start over somewhere else. The staff here is terrible and waste your time while giving you an attitude. Terribly unprofessional and should not be in business any longer. Update to three weeks later: JC Penney corporate sent me a yep message asking for my details so they could call me to help resolve the issue. One month later nothing has been done and I never heard back from them again. So much for customer service and problem resolution. After not hearing a sound from this place in four weeks, I called to find out if my trial lenses were ready for the pick up. The girl who picks up the phone says ' oh they came in yesterday, I don't know why someone didn't give you a call to come pick them up'. I go over there to pick them up and after wearing them for a week, I called to see if I could pick up a prescription so I could be rid of this place. I was told by the attendant to come by the next day as the doctor would be in and could sign the prescription then. He specifically tells me to come in the earl

You know I went in this morning to get an exam. Dr did the exam but wrote the wrong name on Rx. Then when I call to verify that the prescription is for me, no dang answer! Mind you it's 3:30 in the afternoon on a week day. Would not recommend.
