Cars stink like cigarette smoke.
The car I was given even had what felt like a film of dirt.

What a horrible place. Avoid them at all cost. Sadly, they are within the Ford Service Dept and it's convenient.

Absolute garbage customer service and a complete scam. I rented a vehicle from this location back in January and had my pickup delayed by the location so they could “sanitize the vehicle”. The vehicle that they provided was absolutely filthy- it had food residue and smelled strongly of smoke. I was assured by both customer service at this location and the main customer service line at Hertz I would receive a credit for this disservice only to be charged the full amount behind my back. My bank has received multiple statements from Hertz saying they have no record of any report and now suddenly all of the annotations on my rental contract are gone. I’ve now had to escalate this to small claims court. Save yourself the headache- rent from Enterprise or Avis instead.

I had a great experience at this location! The pick up and drop off process was quick and easy. Ned provided outstanding customer service and was very helpful. I would highly recommended this Hertz location.

I Pre checked in and still had to wait over an hour to get my vehicle. Also, they changed my original reservation time to return the vehicle a day earlier without my consent!!! Absolutely horrible experience! Stay Away!

I had been reading quite a few negative reviews of different car rental firms in Ft Lauderdale, so I was very skeptical when we booked a car via AAA for this Hertz location. However, our experience was excellent! Ned and Marsha were both so personable and professional, and Ned was extremely helpful. We had to replace our first vehicle and I requested a newer car…Ned said he would take care of this, and gave us a very nice replacement. We will definitely do business with this Hertz location again.

I rented this car on Feb17 with 5 bars of gas. The car was low tires and low battery key. On Feb20 it couldn’t start at first after I tried couple times it could start and I went straight to return it. When I got there I explained to the staff why I didn’t put the same amount of gas which is missing only 1 bar. Because I don’t want to turn off a car. A week later I went back there to get an invoice and I found out that they still holding $339 deposit and charge $67.43 for gas. The staff said deposit is $200 and they will release 25 hours after return a car. So today is March01 and they still holding my money without explanation. So unhelpful customer service!!!

Rented here recently. Young lady at the counter was super quick and proffesional, and great attitude. Had me in and out on 15 minutes. Good staff!

I have rented from this location a handful of times over the last year, and it's been an easy, seamless process everytime. Each person that has taken care of me at the counter has always been a joy to work with. Most recently Kelvin helped me. He had a great personality and made me feel very comfortable. We had a slight miscommunication but he made sure that was taken care of upon my return. It was a lobby full of people when I arrived. He did a great job greeting people and thanking them for their patience while we wait.
