Dr. Puig is one of the most authentic, kind, and empathetic veterinarians out there today. Not only is he wonderful human being, but his love for animals by him and his staff are difficult to find. Over the last 8 months he has cared for my dog, Olivia with such tenderness and love. I cannot say enough about his clinic. Truly a blessing. I am disagree with other clients, Animal Clinic of Village Square is "THE BEST" place for our loved dogs and cats. Dr Puig is the most compassion, resilient, professional, and patience veterinarian doctor that I had met in my live. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat, my son has 2 dogs, and my mother has 3 cats. All of them has been treated by Dr Puig for 18 years. The doctor and staff are amazing, honest, knowledgeable professionals. I have no words to describe how thankful I am for them.

If you ever let a review persuade you, please let it be this one. This practice's negligence led to my Mother's dog's death. Some background, she has been a loyal customer of Dr. Puig for nearly 20 years, bringing every one of her 4 dogs to him and trusting him completely. Today- that all changed. This doctor performed a third surgery on a 10-year-old dog's TAIL within 1 week, never repeating lab work once since December. Dr. Puig himself stated that he should have performed repeat lab work before this procedure. This third surgery (on just a TAIL keep in mind) she received a call that her dog had passed. Dr. Puig described the "code" that did not make sense whatsoever to myself, an ER nurse, and then adamantly refused to issue any sort-of refund for the previous surgeries he performed that lead to requiring a third one. But don't worry, he offered a "discount". Because of these three botched surgeries, my mother maxed out credit cards and can now not afford to pay for the cremation of her dog that passed in this office, under the care of Dr. Puig. I can barely understand and make sense of "things just happen", but then to refuse any sort of reimbursement for the thousands of dollars I have paid, and do not get to bring my dog home, I will never understand. I have given this practice tens-of-thousands of dollars over the last decade, and not even today, in these circumstances, would he consider doing the right thing. I am disgusted, heartbroken, and confused on how this dog died during an operation on her tail. After years with Dr. Puig, unfortunately this has shown us he truly does not care for his patients or family members, and is the living example of greed, and selfishness, with a total lack of empathy or compassion. On a human, this death would have had to been answered for, and the best she got is a tuft of hair, paw, and nose print. Do not bring your animals here.

My three dogs love this vet! I brought my pug in for a broken nail that was very deep- they put him under anesthesia and after one day he is back to being my playful pup. The price was amazing too! My previous vet was trying to run unnecessary tests but Dr. Puig was very kind and knew exactly what it was right away and treated it. From now on even though I live far I always bring my dogs back. I also have a new rescue who is traumatized and is pretty aggressive they handled him very well and did not push his boundaries! Very impressed with the other staff as well they’re always very kind and understanding and recognize my dogs right away ? never had a bad experience and I’m sure you won’t either.

Dr. Puig and the staff made us feel so at ease and our dog loved them too! Our dog was very anxious when we arrived but the minute the doctor came in she became so calm and the staff was just as patient and loving.

We visited since our vet was out of town and was highly recommended by our vet.They took care of our baby Munchkin and communicated clearly the whole time. Pricing was fair and speed was great.Highly recommend this vet clinic!

I have been taking my dogs and cats here for years and Dr.Puig always puts his patients first, making sure he is putting their well-being first. He always does the best he can for his patients and owners, unfortunately advanced veterinary treatment and medicine is costly and people don't always understand that. He is a good and honest DVM, he saved our sweet princess after she had a severe pyometra to which she had to be transferred to and emergency 24 hour facility. He did his best for our baby rocky and to heal his broken leg after some intense park zoomies and has attended to all our puppies first vaccines and microchips highly recommend this doctor!!
