I moved from FL to PA, and exactly 2/6 pieces of my furniture arrived. My boxes mostly got here, but were beat to death as if they'd been dragged down the highway behind the truck. This did not bode well for the few boxes marked Fragile, which somehow were in worse shape than any of the other boxes. The movers that loaded the truck in Tampa were great. Had my items broken during Smart Van Lines storage and or transport from east to west coast, Several items were broken and to date almost a year later, no reimbursement for the items that were destroyed. I keep hearing the same argument and frankly feel I'm getting the runnaround. The information shared is that the insurance company needs me to check status. When I go check the status and report there are no additional damages to claim because that is always the only question, no response. Do yourself a favor NEVER use this company; my advise.

STAY AWAY IF YOU EVER WANT TO SEE YOUR THINGS AND IN ONE PIECE!!! ...... I can't believe this ... I should've listened to the other reviews ... about 90% of my boxes were destroyed in ways I didn't even think possible, like SIDES completely ripped open. HOW DO YOU EVEN DO THAT?!?!?! .... Everything looked like it went through a hurricane. And I was told I shouldn't be using these boxes ... They're MOVING BOXES, that's what they're for, what the f*ck?!?!?! ... Lost the legs to

They got here right when they said they would. There were 3 guys. All very polite and friendly, asking if furniture was placed correctly, etc. Wrapped electronics up. Everything got moved in perfect condition. Took maybe two hours for 1 bed 2 bath house.

Smart Van Lines made my moving experience really wonderful. The movers were very friendly and helpful with the move! They wrapped and moved all of the furniture safely and made the move a breeze! Crew was awesome!

Harassment via text does not qualify as good customer service. Bill Baggett called me to ask if I still needed moving services for my vehicle and/or personal effects, services that would entail transport from Central Florida to California. I explained to him that I found another company but he proceeded to question my decision to go with another carrier. I delt with Bill from day one. He explained so much that others movers try to hide in federal recounts. I felt he was straight up with me and made my choice easy. He even had a guy come out to the house a few weeks before the move to nail down a price. In the end, I shipped a slightly more, but didn't pay more than $100 more. No hostage situation or cranked up fees. One suggestion the final payment must be in money order although we has used credit card and check prior. It held us up on a Sunday morning to get a money order. Great company. Pick up was on the spot and delivers were ok. More or less all boxes got tossed into garage. With a broken rib and foot it makes it difficult to un packer get my stinking garabage out of the garage. Price and honesty spot on delivery could have been handled better.
