OTR Drivers STAY AWAY from this place! If you are offloading at this place, get ready to way for a very looong time. They don't have any space where drivers can park while waiting for a dock so they have to park on the street at the risk of getting a ticket if any police officer passes by.To make things more interested, they will never answer your calls no matter what extension you reach ou to.The offloadrers are just doing nothing playing with their cellphones!

I recently volunteered at Feeding South Florida at Pembroke Park as part of my community service, and I got to say that it is a wonderful place to give back to the community. The people who work there are great, especially Christian and Ruth, who are the volunteer coordinators. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to volunteer to get some community service either for school, supervision, or just to give some back to our community. The people at the site are great. The organization's mission is to provide meals to the people of South florida who need it the most, especially seniors and children, which is a great cause. They really help the community, but they can do it without the people who volunteer their time here.

Well, I’m writing on behalf of my neighbor I saw everything she received and I was in shock when I saw that all she received was expired ? milk, tuna and salad’s EXPIRED. Eating expired dairy fish and poultry can be lethal ??♀️ we are poor ?but don’t need to be exterminated!!!!

Feeding South Florida is an awesome organization. They sponsor a lot of events and outreach programs to include The Homeless Outreach Programs and Veteran Outreach events in and around our local communities and beyond. They can always be counted on to attend and give away food to the needy and they are a very cooperative and cohesive group of volunteers and workers. As a Retired Veteran myself, I have had the great pleasure of working with them in a volunteer capacity through other coherts and it was phenomenal. This is not fluff just straight stuff as I am appreciative of all volunteer and nonprofit ventures catering to upliftment of society at large, be it animals or humans. I do believe we live in a wonderful world with wonderful opportunities to cater to each other and to give back. However, unfortunately, it is just a few and small percentage that makes this difficult because of selfishness and greed. Nope this is surely not a utopian society but it doesn't mean there are not people, companies and organizations such as Feeding South Florida that are intent on being GAME CHANGERS in our society. I wholly stand behind the MISSION of this organization and bequest that you as a reader of this review do too???

Simple way to be helpfulCould use some better coordination in the beginning when assigning/explaining tasks to newbies, but it gets the job done and it’s all pretty simple, so good enough

Unresponsive phone system. I set up automatic monthly donations. I am plagued by duplicate charges. The credit card company issued a partial refund for the duplicate charge dispute. if I do not hear from Feeding South Florida by phone or email, I will cancel the credit card.

My cousin who lives with me signed up for Feeding South Florida during the pandemic and never bothered to cancel the delivery. The stuff in the box used to be good with a nice variety, but now it has become so bad with same-old, same-old, that even the cats won’t eat it. Our delivery yesterday included three cans of anchovies. Why they would think that someone would eat that stuff is beyond me. The deliveries that come twice a month include two huge jars of jelly, but where is the peanut butter? . They used to bring to peanut butter but anymore. Really, the only thing I find useful are the cartons of milk.

DO NOT VOLUNTEER HERE. i volunteered at feeding south florida on 6/30 and had a very unpleasant experience immediately upon arrival. when i entered the volunteer room and signed in, instead of being greeted i was chastised and spoken down to by Ruth Bonet—the volunteer manager for arriving late. And as a first time volunteer—who IS NOT in need of service hours, but simply just wants to make a difference in the community—this left a sour taste in my mouth. The tone in which she spoke to me was very hurtful + as a disabled bodied person, no accommodations were extended to me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This is discrimination. We came to a company Feeding South Florida that helps people with food...I went to your website, I filled out the form that your company offers to fill out... And that in the end - we were refused. The woman who talked to us said that if we are from Russia, then we are not supposed to receive anything. This is complete discrimination. This is a violation of human rights. A company that provides assistance to people should not engage in human rights violations. This is a complete disgrace and discrimination and infringement of human rights.

For drivers delivering OTR loads. They're slow to unload, docks are a little tight too.I brought in a full load of palletized produce. (20 pallets, all the sane product). i arrived at 8am when they opened. There were 2 OTR trucks ahead of me . They got doors, I didn't, the guy said he'd call me when a door opened up. (Their trucks were using the other doors.)At noon, 4 hours later, I still hadn't gotten in a door, but their trucks kept coming in and getting doors. A half dozen or so. I finally went in to ask if i had beenforgotten, and they said I could have the next open door. The first OTR truck was empty at 11am, the other is still sitting here with me getting unloaded, at 1pm. Maybe it's just a Monday thing, idk. But don't bank on getting to your next pick up on time.Staff was friendly though.
