I live in DeFuniak Springs and scheduled an appt to have sensor light checked. Drove to Panama City only to be told that I would have to leave my car for 3-5 days and cost to diagnose was 3x higher than quoted. Unfortunately the verbal sorry doesn't cover my fuel or time wasted. Make sure that you ask how long it takes to diagnose even with an appointment. and be prepared for fluctuating cost just to run through diagnostics. Very disappointing!

I have been taking my Toyota there for years. They keep it in top-notch shape. I would never own anything but a Toyota and a lot of it is because of the service that I get from the dealer.

Highly don't recommend this place to anyone. RUN!!!!I don't even know how they got 3.5 stars. We worked with Ken Julian and he was the most rudest and awkward person I've ever met. The whole process took about 17 days after we drive 6 hours back and forth to go and pickup our check. Otherwise God knows how many more days we would have to wait. Their Finance folks literally did absolutely nothing for 7 days. In the state of florida, they only got 10 days to pay the bank/ lender.Immediately after that call, they got it done the next day. Then our bank was the one that told us that they paid it. There's no communication with them. We had to call back about 4 times to get updates. Truly unprofessional. Never again.

I don't know who gave them 5 stars reviews for service, I would like apply 0 star.3 times replace my fuel pump, when I third time called them they was mad on me. I towed them for my money. Looks like they used automarket parts, not a dealers. Replaced my head gaskets, and after that they still leaking. Finally They charge me for solder wiring going to injectors, lie again. They simply used connectors, which after few months the problem coming back. Before they make an estimate looks like my coil on this cylinder need change-wrong.I spend a lot of money for junk repairs.I got all receipts which they rip me off.Look last job solders wiring for over $300. After few months low voltage wires get corrosion and injector stop working again. If you love your Toyotas, never going to this dealer.

Appointments mean nothing. The service department is packed, everyone is in the same line with or without appointments. Why bother making appointments? I strongly dislike having to come here. They always apologize, but maybe stop having to apologize every time I come to this place.

My first oil change on our Toyota Highlander took over two hours, with an appointment. The second attempt required a week for an appointment, and upon my arrival there were 10 vehicles ahead of me. After 15 minutes I finally had a member of the service department come over to check me in. As none of the waiting cars were being moved into the service area, I inquired how long it would take to get the oil change I had scheduled, and I was told it would "be awhile". What is the point of making a reservation if you have to still wait hours for what would be a 10 to 15 minute oil change? They promise free service for the first 20,000 miles, but I had to pay $70 at another oil change business due to their inability to manage appointments.

The employees in the parts department were very helpful to me helping me find the part I needed for my 98 Toyota 4 runner. They went above and beyond making sure I knew how to wire it correctly. I greatly appreciate the help.

Charged me for a service I never received, then when I brought it to their attention that I know it wasn't done they lied about it. They did not compensate for it nor did they actually do the service. I expect more from a "professional" shop as people trust bringing their cars here that is why they are willing to pay the outrageous labor fees and material fees, all to find out they provide they same mechanical service and customer service as a regular "knock off shop" that you could go to and save more than half your money by taking it to. Extremely disappointed in Panama City Toyota, I will not be returning.

So Toyota of Panama City refused to replace the head gasket in my 2002 Tacoma. They tried to charge me $4,259 for an entire new engine. Just because of a bad head gasket. On top of that, they tried to charge me $2,095 for a new transmission. Only thing wrong with the transmission was one of the shift solenoid sensors which I got online for $20 and fixed it myself. These quotes they gave me are before labor. I had a mobile mechanic come to my house and replace the head gasket for ONLY $600.. I'm 25 years old and work my tail off for what I have. I have always been a Toyota lover at heart.. But I genuinely feel like this business tried to scam me. How am I ever supposed to make something out of myself when huge corporations like this attempt to steal every dime they can from people on parts that don't even need to be replaced? I would have spent over $7,500 with Toyota to get my truck fixed. Probably even more. I had everything fixed on my truck for $620 elsewhere. I have put 6,000 miles on the vehicle since getting these problems fixed with NO ISSUES. Please do your research and get quotes elsewhere before going through with these folks!!! Makes me wonder how many clueless customers they've stolen from. Toyota used to be the best in the business. Do better Toyota. Attached are proof of my quotes from Toyota
