I called and made an appointment with Austin Maddox and let me tell y’all he’s a hair genius. I came to him broken because the person I had been seeing butchered my hair. Austin talked in length with me about my concerns and came up with a hair goal for us to achieve. The fact he took the time with me and listened but got upset when he was told I had thinning shears taken to my thick hair says a lot about how he cares. He made some magic work today and I’m already set up for my next follow up appointment. Austin, thank you for making some magic and caring about my hair. I now have a new phenomenal stylist who can work with this thick mop of hair I have. I’m in LOVE with this new look.

I had 2 "First's" yesterday: Going to Topix and having Hair Artist Braden:
All I wanted was a simple cut/trim. Keep my length and clean up my layers. I have very thin (thanks to pregnancy) curly hair and haven't had the best experiences with hair cuts in the area.
My stylist moved out of town so I reached out to Braden (family by association )
First the shampoo//head massage was amazing - then she gave me exactly what I asked for...there was no "why don't you try this or what about that" which I appreciated greatly.
My hair is up 99.5% of the time due to my job and even in the pony it looks full and my curls are so defined..

Thank you Topix and Braden for a great experience: I've found my new stylist and salon ❤️❤️

Very impressed not only with my Stylist but also the salon as a whole. Everyone is friendly, patient, kind, they dont try to upsell you on products, do give good and thoughtful recommendations and left thoroughly impressed. I shall be back!

I want to post an update to my initial review. I contacted the manager as she requested. We made an appointment to discuss my displeasure. We worked out what went wrong and 3 hours later my hair was exactly the way I had envisioned ( I will post update d pics soon). So I am letting you know this is a business of quality and ethics and can whole heartedly give them a 5 star. Austin did a wonderful job and made me feel welcome and appreciated. I already made my follow up appointment!! Thank you Topix!!

Very nice, clean studio. Made a same day appointment to have my hair curled for pictures. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Alex did a great job on my hair! Would recommend this salon 10/10!

10/10 recommend! I came here for a complete design hair cut . Braden is super nice and patient. I really appreciate! My hair is a mess .she even ask help from Laura and Kristin to make it perfect . All the hairdressers are friendly and help each other. I would definitely come back and highly recommend Braden .

I'm very pleased. I did request Meghan/Meagan as she's a Sr. stylist & I've been salon hopping since Hurricane. She's very knowledgeable and detail oriented. Conscientious of her craft. The environment is professional, very clean, modern warm vibe. I look forward to trying their product line. It was a lovely experience with absolutely sweet and caring staff. The salon also employs a receptionist which I think is very important and less distracting to stylists and clients. I believe this also helps with a relaxing experience.
