Rooms are non smoking, but it seems EVERYONE smoked everywhere but in their rooms. We could not sit by the pool because every chair and table were filled with people smoking one after another. We could not sit on our gorgeous balcony cause the smoke from the neighbor's and coming up from the deck/picnic table areas was INSANE!!
The room itself was ok. Small things are starting to look rundown. Rusty stove, broken Shelves in the fridge and freezer, doors with water damage on the bottoms, gouges in the bathtub. I could have overlooked most of those things If we could have enjoyed more time outdoors during times we couldn't be on the beach. Oh.... the TV's don't work either
Positives... such a short walk out to the beach and the water pressure and hot water are great in the rooms.

Sunset Inn is a wonderful place to stay. The views are unparelled and the motel is set close to the beach. Anthony"s Beach Service provides Beach Chair service. This really makes staying at. Sunset Inn the complete experience! Rooms have been remodeled and the staff in the office and the cleaning staff are very professional. You won't find luxury but clean rooms and helpful staff. Grills are provided and a lovely courtyard. My flight didn't leave until 7:00 pm in the evening and they provided a place for me to store my luggage and escape the heat. This is my 2nd stay at this quiet motel. My previous stay was seven years ago and equally as good. The only addition that might improve my stay would be replacement of the rusty refrigerator.

My favorite hotel in PCB. Old school that still uses regular keys. Big rooms that are more like condos than hotel rooms.
Super close to the beach and views are amazing.
The best thing is the people. Family owned and operated for decades.
Highly recommend.

My home when I go to PCB. If you are looking for luxury no. If you are looking for a family owned, clean, great people than yes. We love our Sunset Family.Rooms: The rooms are clean.Safety: It's small scale and I have never been concerned about safety.Walkability: Out the back and there you are on an amazing beach!

Excellent family owned motel! The swimming pool is a dream. Lots of beach front rooms and other options as well. Rooms are clean and they have small kitchen efficiency so you can cook meals if you like. The staff are all so friendly and this family takes pride in their motel and grounds.

Spoke with staff when I first got here, parking is tight but they were accommodating on finding a place for my pickup n trailer. Nice ocean view from my room with a door out to a patio area. Quiet and comfortable with a nice kitchenette.Nearby activities: A lot of nite life in the area, Alibi bar jus down the street, and amusement parks just around the corner

Great place for a late in the year vacation. Right on the beach!! Update as of 9/3/23: It's gotten even better. Rooms have been remodeled and look amazing!!

We love Sunset Inn and have been staying here for more than 25 years. Our room was great. Our only complaint is that the pools weren't clean. The pool across the street wasn't cleaned for a few days. I got a couple nails out of it and toys and deflated floats were in the skimmer. When we came outside this morning a chair was in the pool along with dead bugs.

I have been staying at the sunset since 1989 when I get the chance, my family has been coming down from Michigan and had not missed a year in 33 years , because the owners are the best and know what they are doing, close to the beach, reasonable price, always upgrading, I don't know how you would ever be disappointed. I highly recommend the Sunset UnnRooms: Very clean
