Went in for a healthy snack but had to pass for Doles sliced honey dew melons they wanted $9.99 ! At Walmart later that evening a larger pack same brand less than $5 ,I just don't understand the prices ,what makes Bayou George Piggly wiggly quality of food cost SO MUCH MORE?Some local ppl may not have transportation, meaning they would have to rely on going there to shop for their groceries, and a lot of them are on a fixed income where is the community strength? Where is the mercy?

Love there cheese grits and eggs.
But man they have gone cheap with the food while rasing the price. I got one small scoop of eggs, one small scoop of cheese grits with a hash brown 5dollars and something !
Atleast they could have given me two scoops of grits. Dang grits is cheap enough

Favorite place to stop and grab lunch. Try the smoked wings. Very good food and at a very decent price 4 dollars for 5 wings. They have a little bit of everything in stock usually and at a great price.
