if I could leave no stars I would. I rescued a cat more than a month ago and was suggested by the rescue to take her here. Prior to the visit the rescue owner checked the cat’s ears and mentioned an ear infection could be brewing b/c they were moist. Took the cat here and the techs said the ears were fine and assumed it was fleas so gave a flea treatment instead (and no…they found not one flea). Outside of being misinformed on the status of my cat’s ears which was confirmed by Banfield that she in fact did have an ear infection, the techs were rude and you could tell that they tried to be quick to shove people out the door than to take the time to do a thorough check. If I didn’t get a second opinion then my cat could have gotten hearing loss over time if I had solely trusted their word.
Front desk was also horrible as they ignored me when I initially came to check in for the appointment and didn’t guide me to the outdoor area to check-in instead. Front desk at check out again was horrible as a line of people were left standing waiting to be checked out…the front desk attendant however was more focused on cuddling with a kitten that was brought to her by a tech than doing her actual job. When services are cheap…you get what you pay for.

The vet had my cat over her shoulder & she doesn’t allow me to put her over mine. I say she likes it there & her opinion is what matters ??

Absolutely love this place, making an appointment can sometimes be a little bit of a wait but oh so worth it compared to other vets around here, the workers are amazing you can definitely tell they love their jobs, if you are not using them, you are getting ripped off!!!

DO NOT COME HERE. If you’re planning to get a cat spayed/neutered & it tests positive for FIV/feline leukemia, they will euthanize your cat & give them back to you in a trash bag that is zip-tied closed. My experience as follows below:
I recently visited OSB to get our neighborhood stray cat neutered. I was also working with a neighbor from our community & OSB was communicating with her about the cat (Peter). However, they euthanized him because he tested positive for FIV & feline leukemia. ABSOLUTELY NOT OKAY. This is NEVER the first line of action for a cat with these lifelong diseases. Their reasoning was “it’s unethical to release him back to the streets infected”. Although, he had THREE potential homes to be adopted by! AND was going to be fostered by myself until he could be in his forever home! They also did not call to confirm after he had tested positive if it was okay to euthanize. When I went to pick up Peter, I had asked why this even happened & they told me that the euthanasia was “required. no question.” They were so horrible to me when i got there & i had asked for Peter & had to fight to get him back…. My husband & I were handling his cremation services because he’s deserved much better than this. They handed peter to me in his crate, wrapped up in a trash bag that was zip-tied closed.. a girl said to me while handing my deceased cat to me “he’s heavy as hell”. Completely inappropriate behavior & insensitive. I am NEVER recommending this place to anyone. I am absolutely disgusted by this place. I understand what they’re trying to claim that they do around here but THIS was not okay. What happened to Peter & what was said to me was very deplorable & unforgivable. DO BETTER OSB.

OSB is of such great benefit to the community and to all those who love animals.
The fact that they offer their services at a significantly less cost in comparison to the other vet offices, is so appreciated by so many.
I just had 2 rescue kittens spayed and neutered and it went extreme well.
The staff is very dedicated and do their best to ensure the animals are well taken care of.

I recently visited Operation SpayBay to donate items for the animals, having been a supporter of their mission to offer low-cost spaying and neutering services. Despite my frequent donations, I had never entered the facility before, often noticing staff handling drop-offs outside. After going inside for the first time, I can understand why.
The facility had a strong odor of ammonia and animal feces, which was quite concerning. I realize they may have limited resources, but the cleanliness of the space needs considerable improvement. The unpleasant environment raised concerns about the health of both the staff and the animals.
While I support their cause and the valuable services they provide, the current state of the facility makes me hesitant to recommend their services or leave my pet there. Improved cleaning procedures and better maintenance would greatly enhance their operations and provide reassurance to those who rely on their services.
