The Dr was condescending and prescribed something I cannot take. He would not listen to me, will never go back. I don't recommend this Dr.

Very organized and professional practice. They communicate extremely well and give you all the time that you need to get questions answered. The staff is friendly and Dr Patterson is thorough and personable during the exam. If you need a specialist he will discuss it with you and help you make an informed decision. The optical shop is convenient with had good selection and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend this practice.

I was experiencing visual changes in my right eye and needed to be seen urgently. I called a couple of practices and was quoted dates 3 months out. Thankfully I was given an appointment the next day with Emerald Coast. A problem was identified and I was referred to a specialist. This appointment was made for two days later. I appreciate how quickly I was seen and referred. The staff was friendly, professional and supportive.

I’ve gone several times and it’s always the same pleasant personal service. I’ve never been treated poorly or like i was a bother. they’ve gone out of their way to be helpful.

Dr. Patterson and his staff are amazing! Incredibly caring, knowledgeable and thorough. Great with kids, patient, calm, adept at explaining things in layman's terms, and expert in developing a treatment plan, including arranging for further imaging/testing, referring to specialists, and coordinating care amongst a team of medical professionals when necessary. We are so grateful for his expert care!

Doctor and staff are wonderful. My whole experience from exam to picking out my new glasses was friendly and helpful. Dr. Patterson takes extra time to assure you have no questions for him. Thank you Emerald Coast Eye Care for taking good care of our family.

I wish I could give more stars! There was no wait, the staff were so kind and welcoming, the Dr. was very friendly and efficient, and Shelby took the time to help me pick out the perfect frames. I really enjoyed my visit.

I was impressed with the staff and I appreciated how they explained each procedure they performed as they went along. All in all very professional. When everything was completed the nursed asked if I was going to the optical department and I said, probably come back tomorrow, want my eyes to clear up first. When I got home I realized I wasn't given a prescription for new lenses so there was no point in returning to the optical department. I travel a lot and always carry my current prescription with me in case of damage or lost glasses. My previous prescription was over three years old so now in the future I will need to find another "eye care" center that does give prescription with exams. If you don't need a prescription I would recommend this place, if you do, then look elsewhere.
