The cashier greeted me as soon as I walked inside. This is probably one of the cleanest and most organized Dollar Stores I’ve shopped in. I was impressed!

I saw a documentary a few months ago about how it has been common practice at many dollar generals to over charge to the point they were fined close to a million dollars. I didn't think too much about it afterward until I went into this store today to get a specific item. The item was out of stock but I picked up another item in passing. When I tried to pay at the counter it was 3X the cost marked in the shelf. The young boy told me somebody must have put the item back in the wrong location to which I replied they must have picked up about 10 of them and put them in the wrong location. I took him to the shelf and rather than honoring the marked price he just pulled them all off the shelf. Apparently the fine DG received wasn't enough to stop them from continuing this.

So rude, only two employees working an one of them was stocking that helped customers and the one other girl walking around behind counter an not helpful at all very rude to customer that asked question. I was in line waiting to check out but she was too busy talking to her friend that came up to counter. We all heard about her night out partying an spent 200$ I got tired of waiting an left my cart sitting an left. Never again will I waste time in that store again.

This the happened two times. There has been body at the store between 4-5:30. There has been many patients waiting out the sore and nobody at the store.

Just left store #9621 on 23rd st. Several employees working. None of them acknowledged me or ask if I needed help. Won't be going back to this store.

Cashiers were nice, polite,and helpful, but I unfortunately had to seek them out in order to be able to checkout. Not a biggie but this seems to be an ongoing trend at many of the DGs I've visited lately. I also see many placing squeezey dog toys or bells qt the registers for customers to call for them. I feel this only signals to customers that the store is having a, "EVERYTHING IS FREE DAY!" ?... JS... May want to hire more employees ? before your merchandise dissapears.

1-3-23 Absolutely filthy! Gum and many other nasty substances stuck to floor, messy shelves, cashier is sweet but couldn’t put her phone or candy bag down long enough to ring my order correctly. I had to go back into the store and return/rebuy items that were improperly totaled. Just a disgusting mess of a place. .

I work for door dash and I walked in the store 8 minutes before they closed. Had 9 items to get for an order. As soon as I walked in an employee named Richard said we close at 9. I said I have a doordash I have to pick up and it shouldn’t take me long. As I’m shopping 2 other people entered the store and nothing was said to them. So I’m grabbing the last 2 things I needed for the order and another employee named Cody came to find me. It was 8:59 and he said I’m closing my register at 9 if you’re not up there you’re out of luck. I get to the register and they said are you finished and I said I’m here aren’t I. I let them know that they both have horrible customer service and Cody said horrible customer service for a horrible customer. If he’s the manager you need to reevaluate the type of people you hire for your management positions. Then I asked him to please stop speaking to me and he said would you like me to void you out and make you leave right now. I didn’t answer him and as I was leaving he said make my day please call and complain so we can laugh at what’s not going to happen.

A little bit smaller than the stand alone DG stores, but basically the same thing. Not the cleanest, not the most organized, but have what you need in a hurry for a decent price.
