I went in this morning at 8am to have my Subaru diagnosed for A/C issues. My car was blowing cold air and was ready for pickup same day before noon! I'm extremely grateful for the awesome service and fast turn around. Now I don't have to sweat heading to work and back home. Definitely recommend Diagnostic Tune & Auto Air for A/C service in the Panama City area!

When I went down the street, they wanted to charge me over 2k for an air conditioner replacement. I went here for a second opinion, and they were able to diagnose specific issues in my AC and charge me roughly half of the other place. They had a bit of a backlog, so they may not be an option in an emergency. However, they were knowledgeable and their prices reasonable, so I can see why they are popular.

Affordable, direct and quick service. Drove by and saw he even had the protective cover on a vehicle he was working on!!! Amazing. As I have had new scratches the last few places I took it to. I will be back he is my new mechanic for my Ford f150. So far he fixed my rear shocks, front cv axle and possibly a.c next.

Owner was very nice, he serviced my Infiniti the same day. He took the time and checked every possible thing that could’ve been wrong with my AC and even found problems that I didn’t mentioned during our consultation. Very pleased and will highly recommend.Service: Auto A/C recharge

We have had two different cars come here for air conditioners not working. One was an electrical issue and the other a fan quit working. The first car, 2014 Ford Focus ST, not even the local FORD dealership could diagnose, let alone solve the problem. But the folks at Diagnostic Tune & Auto Air not only found the problem, but had it up and running all in the same day.The 2nd car was a 2000 Lincoln Town car that the AC had just quit. Again, problem solved and repaired all in the same day.I highly recommend the services here and will definitely be back for anything that comes up in the future.Service: A/C installation & repair

I’m military and have never had to use any auto repair shops until just recently when my AC went out in my vehicle. I stopped by Diagnostic Tune at 8am and within an hour or so Jim the sole owner and mechanic also a veteran himself told me that my Evaporator Core was bad. He ordered the part, I was back in the shop after a few days.I dropped the vehicle off and had it back the same day. It was a pretty big job having to take apart the dash and what not. I told Jim I’ve had bad experiences in the past with dealerships taking my interior apart for warranty work. Jim was thorough in reassembly as there was no visual defects in the plastics or lights malfunctioning. The AC blows ice cold and runs completely normal. The price was fair and he’s very transparent in what the work will entail and how long it will take him.I’d highly suggest this business to anyone and will be back in the event I have any issues with my vehicles in the future!- NickService: A/C installation & repair

Absolutely the best shop in town. The owner is amazing and so easy to work with. He patiently helped me with my extended warranty and fixed my car at the same time. He makes this run so smoothly and has great prices with great work to follow along with it. I won’t be going anywhere else but here. Thank y’all so much!!!

Please read carefully I went to them to have my AC system recharged when I did the guy called me back and said that it would be $1400 due to the fact that my compressor and dryer was bad on my truck I took the truck by my dad and he checked it out it was a blown fuse and he just had to jump the AC compressor clutch off and put a little can of oil in it conditioner and then a can and a half of Freon and now I have cold air it was $100 fix but I was about to be charged $1400 thanks dad I hope you guys do better. because I called back to have it recharged just so the right amount of Freon was in my system and again they wanted to charge me another 265 so be careful. No sir I replaced compressor 3 months ago but didn’t know about the fuse.Service: A/C installation & repair

I have NEVER done a google review for a business, but after the service I experieced, I cant afford not to! My family and I visited Panama City for vacation this past week, from Ohio. Our A/C had gone out and the heat was pretty miserable, especially having a 4 month old and 2 teenage daughters with us. We checked out Diagnostic Tune & Auto Air upon searching google and reading reviews. I decided that we'd have them diagnose our issue and give a cost for repair. About 30-40 minutes after dropping the car off, we got a call explaining that our car needed a new air compressor and that without other work being done, we could potentially end up stranded on the side of the road on our way back home. The cost was much more than I was able to afford for all the work that needed done. Being, we had budgeted solely for our vacation, not vehicle repair. At first I was pretty frustrated as I had thought I possibly "lucked" into finding a shop that was ready to take advantage of us since we were out of state. But that definitely was not the case. Furthest from the truth, actually.I explained to Jim, that there was no way I could afford the cost for all the repair and we discussed other options with less or no warranty, aftermarket parts etc.After talking, my husband and I decided that we would do the basic fix to be sure we wouldnt take a chance on being stranded, and do without having air. It was already Thursday morning when we made the decision and called to ask if he was still willing to do the repair. We had to check out of our condo by 10am on Friday morning, so we were cutting it close. Jim called us back to let us know that he would have the part overnighted and it should arrive by Friday around 10 or 11am and we were welcome to sit inside the office if we needed to while the car was being worked on. About 20 minutes later, We got a phone call once more, he said he found a warehouse close by with our part in stock. He would have the repair done by that evening, AND he did! Even though they were booked out for 6 weeks, Jim made sure to squeeze us in! It gets better! He told me didnt want us driving back having no A/C, with storms on the way, and kids in the car, so he also made sure we had air! He had asked my max budget for the basic repair earlier on, he charged me nothing more than that AND gave us a very comfortable ride home! My family is extremely grateful for the graciousness we received. I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR DIAGNOSTIC TUNE AND AUTO AIR, YOU PUT MY FAMILY FIRST! THANK YOU, JIM!P.S. I recently had a great experience taking my vehicle to Diagnostic Tune & Auto Air in Panama City, Florida. Driving down from Georgia, my AC quit blowing cold, and started blowing hot muggy air. It made any driving in this summer heat absolutely miserable. I talked to Jim at Diagnostic Tune & Auto Air, and he got me right in that same day, found the problem, ordered the parts needed for the repair, and the very next day I was back on the road with ice cold arctic air coming out of my car vents... What a huge relief !!! Thanks Diagnostic Tune & Auto Air... and THANK YOU JIM !!!!

My brother took his car there and the gentleman was kind and honest. He told my brother that he had to have the air compressor shipped and would be there in the morning. Very honest gentleman. The part arrived this morning and he got the job done. He replaced my brother air compressor and dryer on his AC problems. He replaced all the Freon in his system. Blew cold air for sure. Thank you Jeff and Jim for your hard work. I would highly recommend them also to you. Paul Chaknis
