Attempted to get gas in my vehicle 12/2/23 and went inside to pay attendant said their machines for credit/debit card were down. Then attempted to get gas at the pump, it said declined. there was a $60 charge on my bank card and i didn’t get any gas. Attendant said to get with manager in the morning. If your machines aren’t working please shut down till it is working or post a BIG sign saying CASH ONLY!

We stopped here for snacks, souvenir cup and sun glasses, the lady that helped us was very friendly and patient and helped us find everything we needed.

I try to get a lottery tickets, trhu the lottery app from the phone, but the owners husband didn't wanna scan it from my phone. And was so rude. If u selling the lottery u should learn that business and learn how to talk to customers, otherwise u need to work in other business. Horrible attitude totally. And I always get the tickets there, but never had a problem before, other employees was super nice, but this human was horrible.

My fiancé went to get a pack of backwoods "special edition" banana flavor first she told us she couldn't sell to us because she was doing paperwork and locked the store when we walked out so we waited and came back then she told him she can only sell him one pack and he can not come back the next day she won't sell it to him because they are limited?

Horrible place. My card got stuck in the slot at the pump and the owner yanked it out with needle nose pliers. It has a huge groove down the front and back now and will have to be replaced when we get back to Illinois. He was very rude and didn't apologize or anything. He acted like we were causing the problem, even after telling us he does this all the time and it won't damage the card. Zero stars. Do not recommend. We went somewhere else for gas.

We had been coming here for incidentals since it's so close, but shortly after Michael, I was on the lookout for short gas lines. After seeing that Barney's was the only filling station that was organized (Enter and Exit areas with employees regulating each) I got in line. I was probably fourth from what it looked like to me, some guy tried to jump the line. The blond guy who was regulating the Entry re-directed the jumper and he went to the back of the line (which wasn't long). It meant so much that someone was trying to keep it orderly and fair and I'm a loyal customer for life.

I use the Make It Count app from Marathon to save money on select items and gas. This store doesn't participate in the program, therefore it gets one star.

The cashier was quite hostile toward me when I stopped in to purchase some drinks, I asked if she had a restroom I could use. She just gave me a not-so-nice up and down look and said "No" -I wasn't dressed badly, but she lost that sale from me that day and any future sales will go to the competition.
