I’ve had a wonderful experience at the Ameris Bank on 23rd St. Everyone has always been very friendly and helpful, ever since I first opened an account there with lots of questions. They were very patient with me and didn’t rush the process. I really appreciate all their hard work!!

Jon Sankey is our personal banker. He goes above and beyond with promptness to our needs, thorough explanation of banking business and personal attention with a professional attitude and ready to help in any way. It is reassuring when he returns phone calls and follows up on matters of business. Jon also demonstrates a genuine care for his customers. My mother has banked at Ameris for years and he always asked about her well being. We have had excellent customer service at this branch and are always greeted by someone when we walk into the bank.

Had to close my account after 8 years of doing business with Ameris. Up until the current management took over, I have been extremely happy having my money at Ameris. Then the change happened. They brought in a manager that could care less about his customers or his coworkers. Have went in a few times to try to resolve some issues and was lied to. Every time I turned around I was getting hit with more fees. I am done.

My husband and I have been going through the SBA business loan process at Ameris with Lyndsey Blanks. Never have we ever had such caring and informative help from a bank representative. Lyndsey went above and beyond to get this done for us!! We owe her such a great debt of gratitude that a Google review doesn't even touch it. Ameris handled things efficiently and professionally every step of the way but it was Lyndsey's personal touch that made such a difference!!

Very disappointed with the customer service (or lack of) that I recently received at the AMERIS BANK branch office on 23rd St in Panama City FL. I will definitely be closing out my accounts ASAP. I do NOT recommend this bank, they are NOT very customer oriented, at least they weren't in my case anyways. They really weren't concerned about my needs as a customer - just another number ??
