Angel always has a smile on her face and is very eager to greet you when you walk in the door. Whenever I have asked a question and she didn't know the answer She made it a point to try to find the answer for me whether it was looking it up or going to ask somebody else. Angel takes pride in her job and her customer service. ❤️

Truly the best place to get eye exams and glasses. Extremely reasonable price for everything. I got in same day I looked for an appointment. No waiting at all when I got there. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Beautiful glasses. Steven was very helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone was. Loved the 10% off coupon too. Can't think of a reason to go anywhere else. I've been going here for many years. I give them an A+.

This is very long!!! I dont write many bad reviews but I felt people need to know the doctor at this location is absolutely HORRIBLE! Not only is her demeanor not great her ability to actually get an eye prescription correct is baffling.
My 1st interaction with her, she berated me for not having an eye exam in awhile which fine she was correct it had been almost 2 years. Then she proceeded again berate me for wearing contacts and told me I had giant papillary conjunctivitis after flipping my lid up to take a look. She said I would not be getting contacts that day and to not wear them for 2 weeks. When I came back after 2 weeks to get the trial contacts she never rechecked under my eyelids to see if the papillary conjunctivitis had gotten any better! Then I had the contacts in and settled on my eye and she does the exam and ask the typical cover your right eye then left etc. And see if you can see out of each eye. I told her I could not read ANYTHING out of my left eye at all. Then she said open both and tell me what you can see, I did and could read a little bit. She said your good to go and come back yet again in another 2 weeks for a 3rd follow up!
I left that day and had to drive home barely able to see with contacts in. I was in tears because I could not see anything let alone be able to drive safely for myself and other on the road
I thought maybe my eyes needed time to adjust to the contacts but I still cannot see out of them.
I went back to my original prescription and got a different brand of contacts and voila I can see perfectly. So apparently I had to do it myself in order to see.
She needs to be done with being an optometrist if she is tired of people asking for contacts. She was very against contacts for anyone and would make up reasons why you can't/shouldn't have them

Great customer service! I had a contact mess up on our 2nd day of vacation and I didn't have any replacements. I called America's Best since they are who I see at home in TN and they were so nice and helpful! I was able to pick up a replacement and received a bag of goodies and an extra emergency pair. They saved the day and my vacation! So thankful for them and the top-notch service I received.

Dr. Tracy Beyer was condescending and short.
I was advised by TWO of the office girls that I should not get my eyes dilated due to nursing (breastfeeding). When the dr came to see me, she basically chastised me for not having them dilated and when I told her it was her girls that advised me, she berated them, "they don't know anything about that, they're just retail workers." Like lady, just explain that to me nicely.
There was more, when I checked out, I realized they were only charging me for a regular eye exam, even though I scheduled for a contact exam. I asked about it and the guy (he was super helpful I'm explaining after this happened) called the dr over and let her know I was actually interested in a contact exam. She again was condescending about not recommending contacts due to my low rx but hadn't even asked or shared that info in the exam room. She preceeded to stand there and defend herself for not doing the exam, instead of actually explaining why contacts wouldn't work for me. The man then explained, in detail, why I probably wouldn't benefit form contacts but said he could schedule me back if I decided to go that way.
I then asked him to explain if my rx had changed because the numbers looked similar to my last exam 6 years ago and he was very detailed and helpful. I feel like that should have been explained in the exam room with the dr, but it seemed as if she was ready to check my rx and move on to the next patient.
Everyone else I dealt with was nice and helpful with the exception of the actual doctor. Very unfortunate for the office staff.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! This is hands down the WORST experience I have ever had in my entire life. Not even being dramatic! First of all, I scheduled an appointment online for contacts, and when I got there was told by the short tempered “doctor” that I couldn’t have them that day and made me come back, but that’s not the issue here. The issue is that this doctor is so rude and nasty and just down right UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNPLEASANT! It’s the way she was just irritated with me asking questions and any time I asked anything she was just rude, didn’t want to explain anything to me, and acted ANNOYED when I asked questions. “Doctor” Beyers is the worst and her behavior is disgusting. Do not go here !

Would give zero stars if I could. Appointment was at 5pm was finally “seen” over a tablet after the store closed.
Got glasses couldn’t see with them gave them back 2 days later to let them try to remake them. The new glasses still didn’t work properly.
Had to get a refund for the glasses this wasted lots of time and money. You’d think for over 1000$ they’d be able to get something right.
Save your time and money.
Would definitely not recommend.

Shout out the the most pleasant employee at this location, Miss Angel, who explained things to me clearly and without a rush. She guided me to the frame options available, explained prices, and was very knowledgeable.❤️

My 83 year old father purchased eyeglasses at America’s Best last year and had trouble with them slipping down his nose. He kept bending the frames to make them fit. Heather replaced the nose pads and straighten the frames quickly and professionally. Heather and the co-worker next to her were friendly and helpful and I was very pleased with the results.

Where should I start 4 months wait just for an exam is ridiculous and they even say well you can drive to Destin there next day. We'll next time I will. Prices are all wrong me and my wife have never had to pay outta pocket for an exam or contacts with my insurance. The Dr. Is rude and will diagnose you with something like lazy eye. I'm 30 years old I would know if I had a lazy eye. I won't be back this is typical panama city work ethic and service.

I did not have a good experience here. First thing, they set me up with a digital appointment. Okay, fine so I did a digital exam. The doctor was super nice I dealt with. Told me I needed a certain type of glasses. I’m under the impression the entire time I get a free pair of glasses once a year with my eye med policy. My husband has the same exact policy, goes to pearl vision and gets free glasses every year. Paying maybe $10 for an exam fee. And walks away with nice glasses. I ended up paying $160 at the end of it for one pair of glasses. How does that even make sense? Also, when I got done with my exam and went out to the lobby and sat in one of those little tables with one of the girls when she was going over my prescription and everything, she basically laughed at the type of prescription The doctor wrote me. I specifically asked for something that would help my eyesight with working at a computer all day she highly recommended a blue light accommodation. I forget exactly what the prescription was, but she said this is what you need. Well, the girl that was sitting at the desk out in the lobby, looked at it all basically laughed and said we don’t even provide that type. I’m not sure why she would write that prescription. so me, as a customer I’m sitting here like OK well, what am I supposed to do because this is what I need. She was like well. I can tell you that there is no scientific proof that Blue light does anything. Basically acting like it was a waste of time. And made a joke about not knowing why they would write this when they don’t even offer it. Then just stares at me asking what I want to do. I paid it and went about my day because I really needed these glasses. Now looking back at it, I’m super upset and feel very taken advantage of. I plan on reaching out to corporate and I will never come back here and will be transferring to pearl vision where my husband goes. Very unprofessional.

Very easy to book an appointment online. Completed the exam and ordered glasses within two hours. Glasses took the average time to come in was called to come pickup.
