Would not recommend. To be clear, the ladies that are in the front office and that help with the exam are absolutely wonderful. However, Dr. Shaw not so much. Very short with you, unprofessional and rude. I have a very light prescription, the lady helping me with the initial part of the exam landed me on the perfect strength. He came in and said that wasn't worth his time and added strength to it and told me to just get used to it. Waste of money and now I have to get it fixed by another Optometrist. No wonder they were the only eye doctor in Bay County that could get me in quickly and had an empty lobby when I got there.

Well, there’s no place for a minus 5 stars…I lost my right eye because of hasty’s negligence…he stated after he did a glaucoma implant that he did not completely cover the area…I got an infection and almost died…I was in Gulf Coast Hospital for a week…
I would not send my dead animal to him for eye surgery…

If you like to wait, this is the place for you. They have a waiting room full of people and instead of seeing them, they just open up another waiting room. No one's time is as important as the doctor's. One doctor here to see at least 20 people and you think he'll spend the amount of time that he should with them?? NO

Everyone is very friendly. I had one eye surgery for a cataract removal and I can't wait to get the next one done. Everything went great and everyone is very professional. Dr. Hasty does an excellent job!

They get you in and out as quickly as possible. When I asked about Lasik it was dismissed. Extremely pricey even with insurance. I will definitely not be going back.

I came in and was immediately asked if I needed a mask. I replied nicely "no". I was told that I needed a mask to be in the building. I asked why. I was told that it was the rules. I inquired who's rules . They said "Dr. Hastey. I again asked why, since the only studies about masks that were done showed no efficacy for viruses. They asked if I wanted to reschedule.If an institution requires using PPE, they should at least educate their employees on WHY.I already knew this being a surgical first assistant for 30 years. The CDC uses "space suits" and the surgical staff utilize PAPRs when treating viral patients. This makes absolutely no sense and just perpetuates the misinformation and "scare tactics used to control the masses by the media and the left. Ridiculous!!!

i saw Dr. Todd Robinson at Advanced Eye Care and as usual the staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Robinson is an outstanding eye Dr, I used him in the past and he did an awesome job on both my eye surgeries. So glad he is back in Panama City.
