I came in to purchase a used 31X10.5X15 for my black S.U.V. and also have my spare taken down to swap with one of the tires that were currently mounted. Ok used tire not the problem we know what we get when we buy used anything. The problem however is the labor. The guys there were all pleasant to interact with. The listening skills though need to be adressed. Before I allowed the tire guy to touch my ride I addressed him directly explaining he would need to use 3 different sized sockets to remove the lug nuts as there were 3 different sized nuts on the wheels he would be working on. Whelp like pissing in the wind it came back right in my face as apparently not a word spoken to him was heard. First thing he does is grap his trusty lug nut double sided socket he even put the thing on the lug nut gave it a Lil jiggle and what do ya know he throws caution to the wind and just hammers the absolute hell out of my lugs rounding the very first one he engaged. But wait here comes one of the other guys that works there to help out......which he did the other guy got a rounded lug extractor socket which this thing is basically and inside out drill bit so it grabs ahold and just cuts grooves into the lug. So there goes one lug nut destroyed unusable forever. Onto the next one we'll this one gives up the ghost as well but not before the tire guy managed to jam the socket in a way it grabbed and spun the lug off. So I'm down by 2 now and I just walked away because I didn't want to see anymore of my property being destroyed. Now you would think a brick and mortar automotive shop choosing to do any work requiring tires and wheels to be removed would be prepared but no they weren't. They walked around looking at the ground and on random ledges for a couple replacement lugs I left there thinking I had 2 damaged lugs one I carried in my hand when I drove away sporting 5 of 6 nuts holding 1 tire on. Now I am a mechanic of over 25 years experience and have personally removed the wheels on my ride no less than a dozen times with no issue. Just gotta use the right size sockets. It wasn't until I bought a used tire from this establishment that I NEEDED to replace my lugs. I clarify NEEDED for this reason. That same night I chose to remove the back wheels to inspect my brakes and couldn't do so on no less than 4 lugs without the use of a stripped nut extractor. So the only set I could find to fit my ride was a spliced set at the price of $52 so my $80 used tire cost me $132 cash money and at the rate of labor I charge when I work on my customers vehicles another $150 as the time between extracting the additional lugs and travel time plus acquiring and then removung and installing the new lugs in the autoparts store parking lot. So in reality this shop sold me $282 worth of used tire poor craftsmanship and wasted time. I would like my time and the cost of the lug set at a minimum to be reimburse. I can promise to everyone a solomn vow to NEVER return here and spread this tale as a safeguard to others.
I was there i got a tire from you that you only had two of those tires in the size that I needed they were laying halfway down the line closest to transmitter right at the end or close to the end of your building before you get to that first Tire Rack the gentleman to change my tire and the tall skinny gentleman that works in the shop and I walked down the end of that tire line around that tire line as he and I discussed his Dodge 1500 truck that's within the same year Range model as my 99 Dodge he told me about how he can't drive it due to not being able to find a manual transmission that he need to replace because the one in his truck right now was diagnosed irreparable due to the spider gears inside being shredded.
B.B.B. here i come. Your guys lead me to beleive it was handled I saw them look for a replacement on the ground. I did talk to the owner I offered info of a free resource i discovered online. After receiving less than welcoming body language and a short d

They tried to charge me almost $300 for a $96 dollar repair. I initially went in for a tire repair. They charged me almost 100 dollars for this. In the process of fixing my tire they stripped my lug nut and wanted me to pay for their mistake almost 300 dollars. I told them no and went to Tuffys in Lynn Haven and they got me fixed in under and an hour and for 96 buck. Don't go here. My experience was horrible.
