We had to evacuate from pinellas county due to hurricane Milton on very short notice. Sleep inn not only was able to accommodate our large party plus animals they were so kind during check in process. Beds are very comfy, showers have fabulous water pressure and temperature, and plenty options available for things you may have forgotten to pack in a rush. Sleep inn took a stressful situation and made it very smooth. Manager Pamela was simply the best and meeting her in person just put my mind at ease that we made the right choice. Thank you all very much!

Came to the beach with my children and husband on 10/05/2024 .My husband booked the room on booking.com we arrived at the hotel and was assigned room 214 as soon as we arrived on that floor I smelled mold . We then went in the room and it smelled of mold also I then looked at the wall behind the door and in the corner of the door jam and noticed mold we got our things and went back down to the front desk the clerk did indeed asked us if we wanted another room and We declined another room. So, We were then instructed to contact booking.com because that's who we booked it through and then they would contact the property...Booking.com attempted to call the hotel and was unable to reach someone so my husband emailed booking.com and they assured him when they heard back from someone from the hotel they would let him know about a refund...Well evidently they stated they offered us another room so we could not get a refund....Wow how can you not issue a refund because we did not want another room due to mold..This is ridiculous I even showed the clerk the photos to tell her to let her manager know so that they could take care of this problem...This is unsafe to have customers staying in rooms like this...

I booked a 2 nite stay off priceline everything went smooth. I checked in the lady at the front desk was super nice and very informative. We checked in and when we got to the room it smelt like it's been closed up for a while so I figured it would eventually go away.
My kids took a bath that nite and I used the towel they dried off with to get the access water off the floor...i looked at the Towel when i finished and the whole area on the towel i wiped the floor with was black. Theres no way the floor was cleaned in a while due to the dirt that was on that towel. I didnt even wipe a big area up thats the sad part.
The next morning I woke up and went to the restroom I noticed a few black spots on the wall behind the bathroom door. Then when I mentioned it to my kids, they showed me a spot on the wall next to their bed. I left the room to go to my car and as I came back in I got into the elevator with 2 people. I over heard her talking about the room she was in smelt funky and she went to the desk and they gave her 2 other rooms with the same smell. The 4th time, she said if they didn't get it right she was going to leave. So I told her I had the same issue and she said its mold. ? I went to the front desk and told a different lady my issue and she gave me a different room on the same floor. No smell at all!! The next day, I went to go check out and the lady at the front desk was a different lady when I told her I was ready to check out she rudly asked me if I had a receipt I handed it to her she snatched it out my hand and went around to the desk to grab my deposit. I politely said thank you as she rolled her eyes and not a comment after that as I walked out the door. I will never go back to that place again. The turn in to get in the parking lot is hard to get in and there's only one way in. No area to sit at while smoking a cigarette no where around the building. We stayed in room 317 that smelt like mold and the second nite we stayed in room 315 with no smell. The days we stayed there was Oct 4-6 2024. I hope whoever reads this picks a different location to stay at.
Rooms: Room 317 had a bad mold smell and mold on the walls in bathroom and in room next to bed

This used to be a nice place to stay. It has went downhill fast. It smells musty/moldy. Room was nasty and smelled. Dust wads on curtains. Remote sticky. Blood stain on sheets. Smoke alarm constantly going off. Shower drain was backing up and the front desk girl told me I would have to wait till morning. We had been on beach all day. Needed showers badly. I was not nice at that point. Needless to say after the fact it got fixed that night. All in all I will never stay here again. Location is the only nice thing about this motel.

Stayed here one night to get a head start on our trip to Mexico Beach. Decent breakfast and good coffee. Didn’t use it, but the pool is clean. The room on the other hand was horrendous. The mold/mildew smell was overwhelming, we both woke up with headaches. Carpet felt wet when you walked on it. Told the girl at the front desk and she said she’d tell the manager. Find it hard to believe they don’t already know. They should not be renting out these rooms.

My husband is here for a few months on a military tdy. It’s a good home away from home. The beds are quite comfortable and the free breakfast is a bonus. It’s pretty quiet at night which is important when you’re at a hotel and have to go to work early in the morning. The pool looks better in person. My only complaint is that I’ve had to get it unlocked a few times, but that minuscule.
The hotel is a $3.00 Uber ride to the beach and close to some good restaurants. I’d recommend if you’re trying to save a few bucks and not stay on the beach. It’s 5 minutes to Pineapple Willie’s by car. There’s a washer and dryer on the 2nd floor. It’s used a lot in the afternoon. Bring your debit/credit card as it doesn’t use cash. Oh, and Walmart delivers to the hotel.
Overall, I’d recommend. Don’t expect 5 star but it’s clean and comfortable.

Great pet friendly option. There was a posted water outage on my second day of the stay. I felt forced to wake up early and get ready before the water shut off. Besides that, good location and friendly service.

Nice hotel in a great location. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. plenty of towels and washcloths. The front desk attendant was very friendly. The breakfast was one of the best of any hotel that I've stayed in. ReallyReally impressed with this hotel.

Room had to be changed due to smell and uncleanliness of one bed but the room we switched to was decent and cleaner. We just didn't enjoy walking past a pile of smelly food and towels left outside one of the rooms. We had to pinch our nostrils to get past it but they did clean it up the next morning. Even with AC as low as we could get it without freezing the rooms were still a bit sultry and overly warm, but it's Florida. It wasn't my first stay there, so overall I'd recommend Sleep Inn if you're only staying a couple of nights. Wouldn't recommend any longer. Breakfast was standard fare with decent selections. Need a microwave for ppl who would like some more heat on their food, sausage was a bit undercooked. Otherwise, it was nice with a very very good location. Bike Week made it all a bit too noisy, but watching the Blue Angels practice for the Air Show made up for it. Lol.
Nearby activities: It's close to nearly everything for food and shopping and within less than a 15 minute drive to the beach. Location is remarkably excellent.
Safety: Felt pretty secure on top floor. No outstanding issues with lock and key.
Walkability: There's a bit too much to walk to to tell it all, but it's best to drive. Only takes 5-10 minutes. Parking was pretty good.
Food and drinks: A lot lot lot of restaurant choices, from locals to national brands. If you're hungry for it, it's nearby someplace... trust that. Big recommend for Hungry Howie's pizza and Guadalajara Mexican on Thomas Dr.
