I would love to know why my review was removed after it was posted and someone responded to me. Perhaps to increase the ratings? So I’ll be brief. The NP was condescending and incompetent. She clearly hasn’t been working pediatrics long enough. I’ll leave it at that.

Excellent service and care. All the nurses were friendly, kind, and caring. They were really great with my son.

Excellent service and care and very clean. Registration was quick and easy, the registrar was very kind and professional. We were seen promptly, and did not have to wait long. The nurses and doctor were so sweet and great with my 6 year old. They were very thorough and took the time to listen and answer questions/concerns.

I've had multiple bad experiences with this center, both urgent care and outpatient service. I have vowed to never go back. Anytime my child needs a service doctors recommend Nicklaus Children's for everything. Do yourself a favor and go to Baptist and use the children's services they provide.

How do I start, bad customer service at the front desk, I felt as we went to a third world country.inly 4 kids in front of us yet we waited for almost 3 hours to be seen, the doftor probably saw us for 2 to 3 mins max, it seems he was more concerned about writing the report then the actual sick kid, wow, avoid at all cost

Had a scheduled appointment for my child. Had to take a number and wait. Number was on a recycled post it note. I understand waiting but Wait with all the sick children? Sick \u0026 non sick kids just mixed in waiting area. Emergency room patients and non sick patients coming in for a scheduled appointment in the same waiting area. Unacceptable. Appointment or no appointment you have to take a number and wait. We arrived early for our appointment but by the time receptionist called our number, it was 30 minutes past appointment time. Receptionist, rude as can be. I thought I was at Jackson hospital in downtown Miami. The entire facility is filthy. Tech had zero patient care skills. I expected a better experience from Nicklaus children’s. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS TO THIS LOCATION.

I genuinely wish I could give this place ZERO stars!!!! The first time my 3 month old son had a super high fever they took forever to see me and when they finally did they said it was just a cold. We took him him home and he kept going with the fever I took him back to this center they sent me home again and after seeing that taking him here several times was not working I took him to baptist and then immediately found his ear infection.

I took my child with an allergic reaction last week and the service I received that day was fenominal... the doctor that attended me was Dr Valdes which was great and the nurses that attended my daughter Mady and Liset were patient with her during all her procedures of medications and calming her down very professional! I recommend this urgent care to everyone . Great Service!

My first trip to Nicklaus Children Palmetto Bay URGENT CARE with my 7 year old son due to Fever on 4/19/2018 (UnitedHealthcare Choice Plus Insurance through my work). Lady that was checking us us said that they accept my insurance.

Every experience I've ever had at any Nicklaus Children's location or even by phone with various departments has been stellar... except for the Palmetto Bay Outpatient Center where I've had to have interactions as it relates to outpatient therapy, radiology and a doctor's appointment. Each interaction has been worse than the next. Maybe it's just that the customer service in the other locations has been above the bar that it seems this location just doesn't match up. People who answer the phone are rude and cut me off while I'm speaking (total opposite from every other single person I've ever spoken to on the phone from NCH no matter what department or time of day who are a pleasure to speak to and go above and beyond to be helpful). I also wasn't thrilled with the demeanor of the outpatient therapists (they seem overwhelmed and have poor follow up. Never did get my son's report for OT). They have discouraged me from seeking ongoing therapy with them - "we're very short staffed... we have long waits for appointments... our afternoons are booked solid so it's going to be hard to get your son in"... well forget it then! I've since taken him to another center for therapy. I actually have to drive further to do so but they are more welcoming and less "miserable" at their jobs. Lastly, it took 3 months to have a radiology ultrasound report sent to my daughter's pediatrician. You know why it finally was sent? Because I HAD TO CALL and follow up on it! What if there had been a serious issue found on that ultrasound (and what medical issue ISN'T time sensitive?) and there the report is, just sitting there not even being sent back to the referring provider. Palmetto Bay Outpatient Center is the "sore thumb" of the entire NCH system.

My daughter got really sick while we were on vacation in Florida. My sister's son's pediatrician suggested I take here to Nicklaus Children's for more testing. It was friendly, professional, very clean and quick. We did not wait long between tests and results came just as quick. The staff was not just caring and professional but they went the extra mile to make us all feel comfortable and confident in the decisions we needed to make about our daughter's illness. The pediatrician spent time talking with us and hearing our concerns. We never felt rushed. I would go back again in a heartbeat. Thank you to the staff for the wonderful service you provide <3
