MULTIPLE extremely disappointing and unprofessional experiences with Truist Bank.I recently had a frustrating experience with Truist Bank Palm Harbor, Florida location, that compelled me to share my feedback and caution others considering their services. I have two new business accounts with Truist Bank. One of my business accounts encountered recurring debit card errors at their ATMs, resulting in an inability to withdraw funds when needed most. I was simply not able to withdraw funds from one business account to replenish funds in another business account.Despite attempts to resolve the issue, the process was far from smooth, and customer support left much to be desired. The lack of accessibility to my own funds became a significant concern, affecting daily operations and causing unnecessary stress.I expect to be able to withdraw funds from a banks ATM at any give time needed, especially when in dire needs.I strongly advise potential customers, especially business account holders, to exercise caution when considering Truist Bank. The reliability of essential banking services is paramount, and my experience has left me questioning the bank's commitment to meeting these fundamental expectations.Banker Lisa Johnson was downright rude and dismissive of me when I made an appointment to visit the branch, and quickly pushed me out of her office stating there were other people waiting. Lisa showed little intelligence when it came to my business account, which really surprised and raised a red flag, as a banker who has her own office at the branch, she knew no more than a teller, and that was exhibited as she called the banking specialist to help with an unfamiliar term she said she had never heard of, an “elite limit being exceeded”.After Lisa spoke with the banking specialist about my account, the banking specialist informed her it was a bank card error and Lisa would need to fill out a Bank Error Form to have the overdraft fees that incurred on my card returned.Today (December 11, 2023), I spoke with Bank Manager Sandra “Sandy” Wassen, who took the route of blaming me, the customer, for not having funds in my account (when the issue was my second business account could not be accessed on multiple attempts/days to remove funds). She beat around the bush before telling me they never sent the Bank Error Form, as directed by the bank specialist during Lisa’s phone call. However, I made sure to ask Lisa to fill the form out before I left her office but as I stated, she was eager to get me out of her office and stated she would submit the form today (which was Friday Dec 8, 2023).Based on my personal encounter, I rate Truist Bank poorly from their banking ATMs, to their customer service, to their branch workers, managers, and tellers. (Visit the bank location in Palm Harbor to get an idea for yourself before deciding to do business with this bank). I recommend exploring alternative banking options with a more consistent track record in customer service and operational reliability.
