My family used this vision center for years but last visit was treated quite rudely. There was no one else in the store yet they would not let me in to assist my son that was purchasing glasses after his appointment. Told me he could bring a “few pairs to the glass door when he narrowed his decision down to show me.” I understand the spacing issues with covid, but the store was completely empty. Who would let there son buy expensive eyewear without a parent opinion? Plus, he was so colorblind that he needed my help. I ended up telling them to just order his contact lens and would buy his glasses elsewhere. So much for having vision insurance, their contact fitting, eye photo fees were extreme, defeating the insurance purposes. They failed to order the contacts in a timely manner. When I called, I was treated rudely again. They charge me $70 for 1 box of contacts when online charges were $32-34, double the price. My family is changing vision centers!

Unfortunately the two visits this year were awkward and I will not be back. On both occasions Dr. Hernandez walked by me, didn't speak or acknowledge me with the look of disgust on his face. I felt like something on the bottom of his shoe. The place was empty. It's not a pleasant atmosphere but strained unaccommadating, unfriendly and tensed. I couldn't wait to leave. The staff were just condescending, fake, phoney and lacked interpersonal and communication skills. In lieu of the crisis it doesn't hurt to be a little more kinder and authentically pleasant.

Today my daughter had an appointment, I went with my daughter and (my son is 11 years old) I was told that my son could not come with us. I had to drive him home, I came back but exactly on time when I had an appointment and the staff who saw me did not open the door for me, I went back to the car and called them on the phone to ask them when I could get in, then I was told that the doctor had no more time that everything was scheduled and that I could make another appointment. .of course never thank you again.

I am sad to post this review. I had an accident an my frames were bent to where they could not be worn. I drove to the office holding glasses in place to have them adjusted. I was unaware they now required appointments. I understand things are different with Covid-19 but the staff was moving around without customers present. They declined to make an appointment for five days.I would understand except I drove to another glasses shop a couple blocks away, walked in, was served immediately, and I tried to pay and they refused to accept any payment or tip. I have been a customer at MyEyeDr through several name changes. They used to care about their customers. Hopefully, someday we will matter again.
