Billing over charges. My insurance paid what was due but they billed me extra because they said they did more to me than necessary. They asked me questions and gave me a flu shot. Then when I didn’t pay extra turned me into collections.

Unresponsive. Uncaring. Disorganized. Your primary should be your safe place, where they have all the accurate medical info concerning you and can guide you through a medical crisis. This is a scary place that doesnt care and doesnt know you. And will give you an appointment 6 months from now when you're in the middle of a health crisis.

Terrible front office response to issues like refill mixup. Pharmacy never gets call back untill you finally get thru to office, then denied. No calls to patient. Expects you to hold 10 min. Or more!!!

READ BEFORE EVER VISITINGThis is the worst experience I have ever had at a doctor's office. First of all, the wait times are insane. I needed to change doctors and decided to try this place; a bad mistake. The first red flag was getting my introductory appointment; I had to schedule it FIVE MONTHS ahead of time. Despite that, I decided to deal with it and waited until today.I attend Saint Petersburg College, and to be able to make it to my appointment, I had to miss an hour of lecture. My sister, who is 13 years younger, also had to be taken out of school early, so I could make it. The appointment time was 1:30 PM. It may be annoying, but it was not that big of a deal, so I headed to the doctor's office and wanted to check myself in by phone because I ran two minutes late. It did not work, and I was unable to check in online. "No big deal," I thought, due to me only being probably 1-8 minutes late at most; I would be wrong. As I arrived, I was greeted by an unbelievably rude front desk receptionist. I told them my name, and she said, "Sorry, I have just marked you as a no-show." I was only SIX MINUTES late, plus the receptionist was also on the phone for two minutes after I arrived, meaning by the time I got there, I was only FOUR MINUTES LATE. She then promptly said to reschedule it before shooing me away. There is no way id ever even consider going here again, and there is no way in hell I'm becoming a new patient.

I became very ill quite suddenly they treated me me right away. Dr. McNichol quickly found what the problem and treated me with medication in the office which helped right away. If it wasn't for his quick action things could have turned out very badly for me. I highly recommend BayCare medical group and Dr. McNichol

I'm giving 2 stars to begin with because how on earth as a first time patient can yall set an appointment OVER 3 MONTHS AWAY. ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PERSONS BEEN HOSPITALIZED TWICE IN THE LAST MONTH!!!I have no choice but to wait if I even make it that far away because no other place I call that accepts my insurance is even answering their phones. Health care system has become a joke. Let's hope if I make it till MAY that they are atleast better in person and after you register as a patient.... well see I'm not to hopeful

First time patient, I paid the $136 before leaving. Two weeks later I get a bill for over $400, so I requested an invoice. It showed nothing about the breakdown of charges. All I can figure is that taking your temp and blood pressure is considered 'Lab Work'. When I said I didn't have insurance, it was magically cut by half. This is why health insurance is out of reach for average working class citizens.

I am more than pleased with BayCare - Palm Harbor West. Whenever I've had a medical concern, they always found a way to either get me in for an appointment or respond to me (quickly and thoroughly) through the patient portal. In fact, this morning I sent a message through the portal and had the response within 90 minutes. My primary care physician is Dr. Torres and I feel that I am in very capable hands. Even during the very thick of COVID, she always showed concern and interest during my visits. It made me really think about the dedication of doctors, doctors of young children. I saw that someone felt that the staff was rude to them; I never had that problem. I felt that all staff treated me respectfully and kindly.

This place is a rip off. They don't have any medical equipment like xrays or lab. You see a doctor that then refers you to a doctor that can serve your needs. That's double dipping fundd since we have to pay twice!

Brand new first time patient. Left work to go to appointment. Got there signed in on the tablet. Overheard them say the PA had called in sick. Overheard them say they would see if another provider could see me. They said we have bad news and asked if I could come back the next day at 10am. I said you do realize I work? I wasn’t angry or mean I just asked why no one called me. I looked at my phone, no call, no message. The receptionist put her hands up and said I’m not getting into the you didn’t get a message thing . I called you. Then she said we can get you in tomorrow with Dr Torres, I said, did you say Torres as I am putting it into my phone. She wouldn’t look up at me I guess as I’m adding it to my calendar. She told the other receptionist to scan my id etc…I was waiting for my id’s back. When she snapped at me if I wanted the appointment or not. I explained I thought she understood and that is why she asked for my id’s to be scanned. She never apologized, never acknowledged the fact she could have missed me, mistakes happen, I’m sorry, let’s get this worked out. The customer service was rudeness. After I left I realized I just left a practice that was so uncomfortable to go to and I do not want to be put in that situation again. I called and left a message for the office manager to find out if this is the way the office is run, or if this was a one off. I wanted to explain my concerns and what I had been through. I gave him two days to return my call before providing a review.

This is where my primary doctor is located which is also very close to where I live, making this location convenient for me. My doctor is always very thorough when I see him and addresses my concerns. Right now I am giving him a lot to work with so we'll see how that all goes. One thing that is a large downfall to this office is their phone system. They only have two lines so if they are being used by other patients for appointments then you just get a busy signal vs a waiting line or answering service.

My son had his initial visit last week to establish a primary care physician and although he's in his early 20's I went along with him to the appointment. With that said, I cannot boast and brag enough about this doctor and his staff. They were kind, courteous and provided exemplary patient care to my son. I'm so grateful my son has found you!

so this office complained about my sons day program for special need adults so much that the landlord is now kicking them out of the space. If this is the way they can treat special needs kids for playing music can you imagine what or how they treat there patients STAY AWAY
