Louanne is the best. She does excellent short cuts, perms, and color. If you need an excellent hair stylist go see her. Highly recommended.

It's hard to find a hairdresser that is good at cut and color. Look no further, M Louis & Company is the best at both!

Wish I could give 0. They didn't even ask me for some of the salon services they did yet still charged me. I got a hair trim and agreed to an eye brow wax. The salon tech proceeded to tint my eyebrows (when I wasn't even asked) and waxed my nose which again I wasn't even asked nor agreed to, she just did it. I thought maybe it was a first one free type service until I checked out to a $90 charge! I can't stand pushy sales people, and I'm in sales, so this should tell you how rude and pushy they were. Will never be back.

I recently had to find a new hair dresser and I was referred to Luann, she was most accommodating with my color and I now have a new Hair Dresser. Wonderful service and great hospitality.

It's always a risk when you are from out of town and have to try a new hairdresser. We are here for a wedding and hit the jackpot with this salon. A super friendly staff that did a fantastic job. Amanda did a specular job on my hair. If you are ever in Palm Coast and need a hair salon, go there. If you're from the area, switch!

I have Louann do my hair and she is the 1st stylist in a long time to finally listen to me and do what I asked for! She gives me what I want every time!

I went to the salon for a color fix, purple tips, and a hair cut. I asked in an email prior to my appointment if they could do purple tips, and, after a disastrous home dye, asked if they could correct the color as well. Upon arriving Saturday, October 11, 2014, there were only two employees, Carol and Louanne. For some reason Louanne thought I had cancelled my appointment, which was unsettling because I really needed it done, and that made them seem unprepared for the amount of work my hair required. For the first half hour or so Louanne and Carol both worked on my hair simultaneously to try to make it go quicker. It was unsettling because Carol, who would end up being the primary woman working on my hair, kept asking what percent of hydrogen peroxide to mix and what to do. Getting your hair done is an incredibly stressful thing, and hearing someone have to walk your stylist through the procedure is nerve wracking. I wanted the tips to go all around my head, which Carol was going to do until Louanne talked her, and myself, out of it. To I assume save time, Carol dyed the top portion of my head with the high lift platinum blond and the tips purple at the same time. It's no surprise that when she went to rinse my hair the platinum ran into the purple causing most of the purple to become blue. She did not offer to redo the purple after seeing this. After two washes at home the blue is now turning green, and the purple is practically gone. I have gotten blue done at an Aveda salon and it lasted several months until I dyed my hair again. I have also used blue dye from a drugstore that lasted longer than these "professional" tips and never faded to what these have. The hair cut was also a disaster. I asked for my ends and bangs to be trimmed. Instead of just trimming my bangs, like I asked, she cut about two inches of hair on each side of my head at an angle. I didn't know what she was doing until my right side was trimmed and by that time it was too late. Before going to the M Louis Salon my hair was even since I had a straight cut, now the back of my hair is longer and, as a whole, is uneven. I did not notice this when I first left because she curled my hair so it disguised the cut, but after my first shower I saw the damage. My mother had an appointment October 14, 2014, the day after my first shower with my new hair. I expressed to her my extreme displeasure with the cut and fading tips and asked her to bring it up while she was there for her appointment. I wanted either a refund for the tips and cut, so I could get it fixed at a more trusted salon, or at least a credit if the refund was not a possibility. We took pictures of my already fading tips and uneven cut to show the stylists as proof. My mother told them how I was extremely unhappy and showed them the pictures. She spoke to Louanne about the possibility of a refund or credit but she declined both, only offering to fix it. My mother told them I did not want to return the to the salon for them to fix my hair for obvious reasons, and, at this point, there really is no way to fix it without me hating it more. To make my hair even they would have to cut a lot off, making it too short for my liking. They wouldn't be able to give me all purple tips, like I wanted, because Carol angle cut the front of my hair, so the purple tips would not be even. Even after my mother explained this they still would not give a refund. They will not get any more business from us.
