Dollar General customer service has always been bottom of the barrel but this location as always been decent until my run in with Mary Beth today. She doesn’t know how to speak to people and likes to keep the drama going. I was confused on when self check out became 5 items or less because it has never been that way. They then showed me their little hand written note indicating that was the case. When I said oh that’s new Mary Beth became a personally offended for some reason and had to fight me on it actually not being new.

My husband went to this location and the cashier was very confrontational for no actual reason. He asked for help with a digital coupon for an item and she just did not care or want to be part of a solution. My husband then asked her to please stop talking to him and just do her job and ring him out for his goods. She apparently found it offensive and became more confrontational. The manager did absolutely nothing to intervene. Absolutely terrible experience. That cashier has no business dealing with the public. Only leaving one star because you cannot leave 0.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!The staff here seemed overworked while the assistant manager is rude to customers. which all seems racially motivated seeing as she originally came to cash customer on register 2 but instead decided to come back and forth 3-4 times repeating to me the same thing and making it seem as though I can’t read. I asked if they’d like to check out my cart instead to which the employee responded “no” but came back to say the same thing again. They made my visit anything but convenient and I don’t see myself ever purchasing something from this location again after my recent encounter.Update: I called to inform them of the issue where I explained where I was coming from and the manager Nancy called me a liar, said I was playing “the race card” and that I had an agenda. I made it clear I just wanted some type of training to be done because I never should’ve been approached or treated that way as a paying customer. Nancy continued on to make me seem incompetent and tell me my feelings about my experience are invalid because the employee has a black husband, (which had nothing to do with anything I said as I never called the lady racist I simply stated the situation at glance seems racially motivated but I’m not sure). I recorded the call and am forwarding it to corporate due to the way Nancy treated me on the phone. Nothing about the call was professional on her end and no customer deserves to be yelled at the way that I was.

I would like to thank, cashier Holly, the day before Thanksgiving, craziness through the store. And she was kind and talked to each customer with a hello and respect. Thank you, Holly for making our holidays brighter.

Okay store but they really need to be better about listing prices properly almost weekly I end up paying more on something than I intended because the sale wasn't taken down or it's just simply wrong.

Really good store. Summer was fully set, garden area had great flower pot options. Home decor was really nice and well displayed.Store was busy but the cashiers handled the lines so getting out was quick.

I just left their store on palm coast pkwy. I was in a long line of people so I decided to use the self checkout. As I was paying the cashier asked me if I paid for my wrapping paper!!!!! What, did she think I forgot to pay for it?? Maybe it slipped my mind! I’m not a thief!! Don’t accuse me of being one! Don’t have a self checkout if you are going to accuse people of stealing! Not our fault you don’t have enough employees?

I shop here frequently and random hours of day and night. Lisa is always so pleasant, helpful and caring! She is the main reason I enjoy coming to this location specifically!!
