I am black and I just moved to palm coast. The people have been so nice and accepting here. Im saddened to report my experience at autozone this morning with the older guy there was really surprising. So i bought a couple air fresheners. When he gave me my change it was 1 customer behind me. Both men are white. I told the guy behind the counter give me a second to put my change in my wallet because i dont wanna get knocked it the head outside fumbling with money. The clerk then proceeded to tell me, rather loudly that im not in the HOOD so i dont have to worry about that. I said sir there is crime everywhere. He then said yeah but its mostly in the HOOD. I was so embarrassed. It was such a racist and unprofessional thing to tell a black customer. I just said thats your opinion and walked out. I wont be going back there. He should be fired. I was so embarressed and the customer behind me smiled at the comments. Wow. Disgusting and racist

I was on the Palm Coast Parkway when I started having the car start to "chug> So I pulled over and shut it off. Big mistake. Click click, click and no start or even a turnover. Luckily a nice gentleman had Jumper cables and I got a jump. Got it started looked up and saw the Palm Coast Auto Zone. I backed in and left the car run. The store had about 5 customers and as I went out a guy that worked there asked If I was having trouble, I explained, next thing I knew he was standing there with a charging system tester.It was Diagnosed as just the battery. Next thing I know he changed it and took care of me. I noticed that he had a lunch container the whole time. He was doing all this on his own time to help me. How great was that. He would not take a tip I was trying to hand him. Also I always get waited on and taken care promptly and friendly service.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional service provided by Antonio at Auto zone. After nearly being stranded on my way home from Saint Augustine, Antonio's kindness and hard work truly saved the day. As I arrived at the store just before closing time, I was met with a dire situation involving my car's fuse. Thankfully, Antonio stepped in without hesitation. His dedication to helping me and my family fix the fuse, despite the late hour and the complexity of the task, was truly remarkable. It's individuals like Antonio who embody the true spirit of customer service, going above and beyond to assist others in their time of need. Without his expertise and unwavering commitment, my night could have been far more complicated and stressful. Antonio's genuine care and professionalism deserve recognition, and I sincerely hope his superiors take note of his exceptional contributions to the team. I picked up the wrong oil filter for my oil change. Andrew and his staff went above and beyond what I could have expected to make it an easy fix. There's a couple of parts stores locally. This should be your first stop when you need help and want professional service. Thanks!

My daughter and I needed quite a bit of assistance on Saturday, with both our vehicles. The service we received from Vince was amazing, he was very professional, pleasant and made us feel very comfortable about not being as knowledgeable as maybe we should have, regarding filters. ?
