I'm shocked by the great reviews. We recently moved to the area and loved the Ace Hardware stores from our previous locations. I've been to the store twice, the first time to buy paint for our patio beams and posts. After spending all day painting, I hated the color when it dried. After pulling my sample discovered the color wasn't close to the Benjamin Moore sample it was supposed to be. I ended up going to the Benjamin Moore store and purchased the correct mix and repainted it all. The second time we were looking for items to repair some screens, the employee wasn't helpful and was somewhat rude when they didn't have what we were looking for. I'm accustomed to superior service from Ace, so far this has been a disappointment. With the good reviews, I'll give them another try and hopefully will change my mind.

Just stopped in to the Ace in St. Joe Plaza Palm Coast at 4:58 p.m. and saw they closed at 5. They were very gracious to assist us in finding the 2 small things we needed and did not make us feel rushed to leave. Thank you for not locking the door before the end of your business day and helping my husband and I with our purchase.

Pretty great selection for smaller Ace and prices aren't that much higher to Lowes or Home Depot compared to saving drive time and store time. Helpful staff
