Israel was not able to get to the number I would have liked but created a great experience where I left feeling satisfied. He filled and made up the value with the experience. I would recommend Circa of all experiences were like mine.

This company is hot trash. Instead of giving you time to cancel a appointment they want to call you last minute after I made plans to go to their store. Don't waste your time with these people.

My appointment with Mr. Ocasio was Pleasant and transparent ! He is very knowledgeable and even taught my daughter and I something about gold. He took his time on diagnosing the weight and value of each of our pieces thoroughly.

Don't waste your time at Circa Palm Beach. Ocasio offers were insulting for important pieces I had. I met with another appraiser the same day and got 5 times more. Will never recommend. excellent brilliance

I met with 3 companies that buy gold— Learned there are certainly some big differences! I chose to work with Israel Ocasio at CIRCA in Palm Beach because he weighed, evaluated and itemized my gold items and gave me his list of what he could pay for each of 11 pieces. He sorted out the other items he could weigh & pay in lump sum, and explained why other “gold-plated” pieces could not even be melted down/thus had no value. Israel also gave me some excellent info about jewelry trends and advice about keeping 1 item I hadn’t considered. It was such a pleasant and educational experience, as well as more “rewarding” in that he paid me more than the other 2 buyers, neither of whom would share their itemized valuation to help me consider whether to sell or keep certain pieces. Highly recommended!

I happened upon Circa via social media. At first I was skeptical trusting a complete stranger to fairly value my vintage watch(es). I made an appointment online and ending up meeting Howard Beardsley in a comfortable, casual, and private office in Boca. Howard and I got on right from the start. He carefully and professionally evaluated my timepieces and made me a fair offer. So much so that I asked if he’d look over other jewelry I had on hand and he was more than accommodating. In fact, he spent 2 hours evaluating and testing each individual item then noting these on a form along with what Circa would offer for them. Turns out, I sold it all because I felt Howard was being very fair and honest. I highly recommend anyone considering selling their jewelry contact Mr. Beardsley, you won’t be sorry and may even walk away, like I did, grateful that I took the chance and trusted Circa.

I was very pleased with my experience over at Circa. The staff there were consummate professionals and, though very busy, were respectful of my time and stuck to the appointment time we agreed to. I arrived a few minutes early and there happened to be a random county inspection of some of their weighing equipment, which was a nice reminder that appraisers aren't running around buckwild out there. Howard is the director and performed the appraisal very thoroughly. During his inspection he would explain the process and inform about the various pieces that we was looking at. The process was fairly lengthy. Obviously when you are dealing with antiquities or vintage jewelry of value you want to take your time, but it's worth noting that Howard looked at one large piece and about five smaller pieces and I was there for two hours. Set aside some time in your day if you have questions or multiple pieces for them to look at. Also, because of their various appraisal appointments and road schedule they are not always presents at their office location.You will need to call in advance to make an appointment. The offers I received were fair based on what I was looking for, and Howard didn't attempt to lowball. Rather, if we were off by two thousand he would split the difference. I've been to jewelers in the past that were either erroneous in their calculations or made obvious attempts to get the best deal for their business (essentially ignoring market value and lowballing - hoping that the convenience of having a check written that day would sway you into accepting the offer), so I was very satisfied with Circa's overall service, knowledge, and understanding of value. I'd definitely recommend Circa for any of your gold or jewelry selling needs. It is worth noting that they don't appear to specialize in plain or modern pieces. If you have plain gold earrings, a small diamond tennis bracelet etc. they are going to give you an offer based strictly on what the market value is for that day - nothing more. For those pieces you would be better off going to a liquidator or pawn shop. Circa deals mostly with name brand pieces, vintage pieces, and antiquities or other unique pieces. That's where you'll be able to negotiate and get the most for your valuables. They also offer consignment if you want to take your item to auction and potentially get more money for it. Overall, I'd recommend Circa to you if you want to make a quick sale and leave with a check in hand. Shop around of course, but these folks are worth putting on your list.

I have gone into Circa when it I needed to sell my parents jewelry. I was met by an extraordinary man, Alex who made sure I was comfortable. Next, I was met by the Director, Howard Beardsley who was amazing. Mr. Beardsley was professional, obviously extremely intelligent regarding my items and gave me the comfort and security that I needed to have. I recommend Circa Jeweler to anyone selling their specific items. They are graceful, knowledgeable, caring and they will make sure you receive the best price.
