I needed a place to stay for the weekend that was near the triathlon I was racing in. Of the 4 hotels in the area, I chose this one because it seemed calming and relaxing from the pictures and, it was within my budget.
First, I was able to get an ocean view room which was great! The view was so nice to wake up to in the mornings.
Second, the pool is not inside the main hotel building. When you arrive, the hotel lobby and rooms are to the right and the pool is to the left; outside and across the main building. I haven't seen a set-up like this before. I did not use the pool so I'm not sure how it was.
The room, although looks nice in the video, was dusted, at best. I read a review prior to booking that mentioned sand being in their room and I felt the same in mine. The shower was not very clean either. The balcony needed some touching up- overall the entire room needed a deep clean. Best way I can describe this hotel is its "fake nice". It seems to have been upgraded, however I felt they just put new paint, upgraded room decor and call this place a resort now. If you're unfamiliar with the area then I can see how this would be appealing.
Oh and I had no cell phone service AT ALL so I had to connect to the Wi-Fi (which I don't like to do on an unsecured network). It was raining a lot that weekend too meaning service was choppy.
This hotel is known for weddings- I think- and there was one going on while I was there. That was nice to see and, it ended at 10pm SHARP.
All in all, I embraced the experience and did enjoy time to myself.

Service was great. Amanda was very helpful in narrowing down our decisions. For sure recommend the fish tacos and the chicken avocado wrap.

My Husaband and I came for lunch after googling the view. Amanda was so nice and talked us thru the menu and made a great recommendation for the mushroom truffle pizza for us to share. Between the relaxing atmosphere and the view I can’t believe we didn’t come before. Will be back!

Terrible customer service! They seem great at first, but then disappear. I was working with them to stay and possibly plan an event for my wedding. Booked a room and they seemed very nice, then when there was a change of plans things changed. I called to cancel the room reservation and they said no problem, looking through my account weeks later they had charged a deposit 2 days after I had already canceled. When I realized this I immediately reached out to them and very politely stated how there was a charge on my account after her telling me she had canceled it. She said, “no problem, I will look into it”. That was the last I heard from her. Tried calling her and she blocked my number, called the hotel, and they said there was no one there to authorize the cancelation. Called the hotel manager and left a voicemail, no follow up. It took three days to finally get someone to cancel my reservation and refund my deposit. How a hotel on Palm Beach island can have this bad of service is insane.

Rooms: Beautiful ocean view with large balconies. Pet friendly.
Food and drinks: The bar staff was kind and knowledgeable. I had two martinis and shared a plate with my husband. The food was delicious, and the dessert was delightful, too.

I had a very pleasant experience. I came here for vacation and got the day pass for the pool and beach access. Valet and the front desk attendants were very nice as well. The pool area was beautiful and I loved the scenery at the on site restaurant, which leads to their relaxing private beach. I also enjoyed their restaurant, Brandon's Palm Beach. My server, Tracia, was really kind, attentive, and very helpful. It wasn't crowded, which was a plus for me.

Always one of my favorite ocean from hotels. Remodeled inside. Great edge pool. I would request some remodeling to the pool area. Overall enjoyed my stay. Large rooms with balconies were great. Amazing to get up early and see the sunrise.

I’m here now and it’s a mixed bag. Rooms ( although not the greatest view bunch of trees even after upgrade) and place is nice recently renovated other than elevators , but with no one here they nickel and dime you to death $35 a night to park a car valet with no ability to park on one’s own which is crazy . Add to that no convenience store to buy snacks etc so have to $18 for some nuts from room bar.$30 for sun lotion. Restaurant is very expensive and include an auto 20% tip on all tabs. So if you don’t have a car ( and pay $35 a night to park) you are stuck . Sands in Delray where I normally stay doesn’t charge extra for parking as it is part of their overall service fee so you have the freedom to go elsewhere for food etc snacks lotion etc, , and which also doesnt have the service problems below. Being that this is off season you would think they would not be charging ppl $35 a night for parking for starters. Was going to get a car to be more flexible but the $35 a night is crazy .( airfare from ny was $49!) . Add insult to injury I’m paying about $100 more a night than what the hotel itself is listing its rooms for right now and I booked direct .
Staff seems also very limited - no one was around at the beach to help with umbrellas on the beach and seems no bar service at pool or beach. Will see how the rest turns out , but right now I would not come back even though the rooms are affordable - they seem to make up for that and then some with the nickel and diming. .
