I gotta admit, I love walking into any WIlliams-Sonoma because the merchandise is really cool and looks great in the house. Prices are high, sure, but it is what it is if you want high-quality products. My wife and I have gone into this specific location dozens of times for small things and also large purchases (i.e., Breville espresso machine) and not once have we encountered a nice employee. They're so burnt out, always complain about being short-staffed (funny they complain to us instead of behind closed doors), and seem to pass us off to another employee if they're doing anything else. We're going to be back but will likely help ourselves and avoid any conversation with a store employee at all costs. I leave you with this: When I bought the Breville last month, I asked where to find accessories for the machine and the employee tried to sell me a Nespresso maker...

Just like any Williams Sonoma, but with one key difference, Suzi R. She was so helpful and wonderful. To be honest I was dressed kinda shabby due to my day of a lot of travel and not intending to go into a high end kitchen store, but hey, life happens right?My mother and I went to browse and ended up liking a ton of stuff in there and we decided to purchase a few things here and there.The only thing I wasn't a fan of was another lady who worked in the store kinda hurrying her a long so she could get help answering phones and stocking things or something other workers in there could do pretty easily. Suzi remained super cool telling her over and over that she was assisting us in buying some pretty nice kitchen knives, which we bought 4. I appreciated her ability to assist us while also managing someone who doesn't know how to read the room. It's a talent and skill to which Suzi has, which reflects in her extensive background in hospitality and banking.I'm sure that the other lady is very nice, probably overworked and had a lot of stress and that's unfortunate for her as it is for all, retail workers.

I am writing this review, which would be a zero, due to complete frustration. I receive an advertisement email this morning at 7 a.m with a sale of 20% off their espresso machines. Once I clicked on the item I wanted the price was hiked and was not reflecting as advertised. So I email their support desk to bring this up to their attention and I was instructed to contact their customers service number. As soon as I contact customer service I was immediately told that I was wrong because that's not what their website is saying and the supervisor cannot and will not do anything about it. This experience has been horrible! Sadly, it will be my first and last purchase from William Sonoma.

I love this store. Especially at Christmas time. Great location at this mall. They had plenty of inventory on hand which made purchasing easier. Customer service was spot on as usual. Alexei took very good care of us and offered future assistance when needed. It was a very good shopping experience. We bought a few items to make bread which I plan to do today.

maybe it was because i was only buying 3 small things, however i've never been treated as badly in any other store. for the most part employees here will just ignore you, but if they do that you are lucky. if they aren't ignoring you outright, be prepared. simply walked up to the register to ask a quick question, never been in this store before. before i could say anything, a lady with long brown hair and glasses told me she was with another customer. completely fine! i wasn't bothered at all at this point, i mean it's the holiday season. the store wasn't exactly busy, but there were multiple other customers who seemed unhappy. i heard two customers whose online orders apparently were never made. lady told me to get in line with everyone else and even though i had a question and wasn't ready to end my shopping, i decided that i didn't want to do any more business here and would buy items and leave. was walking around the corner to find the line, taking my time and still looking at a few items. she walks by me very fast and pushy, then states extremely loudly that if i would open my eyes i would see that the line doesn't start there and that it isn't hard to get in line. the couple in front of me saw all of this and i couldn't say anything, i was in shock. she had been running around the store like that the whole time i'd been there. hoping it was just a bad day for her and that they aren't usually like that, definitely will not be going back. only reason this wasn't one star was because i had a great conversation with another lady who worked there at the register, she was the only employee who didn't treat me and other guests rudely.

Ok I have nothing against the store at all. But I’m not happy with their online services at all! I ordered my dad a birthday gift way back in august and it was supposed to come early September. A while goes by, and still no gifts. I call to find out that they’re on back order. Then I call today to find out it’s on back order again! They should send emails to their customers to inform them! Never order from their online services! Like I said, I have nothing against the store at all.

I'd say one of the biggest reasons customers come back to a store is customer service, and that is the reason why I will not be coming back. My boyfriend and I were shopping for a thank you gift for his mom and we were having a bit of trouble navigating the store. No one greeted us, asked us if we needed any help, nothing. I get it, they might have been short-staffed, busy with other customers, but a simple hi goes a long way. (I would know having been in customer service most of my life.) We finally found a good gift and walked up to the register to check out. The place was a bit busy so we waited patiently. A woman at the register turned around and looked at us. I thought it was a sign that she was ready to ring us out, nope. She didn't even acknowledge our presence even though it was clear that we were ready to check out. I realize she wasn't going to ring us out and I go, "Ope," as the midwesterner that I am. She then turns around and helps another customer. I look over and realize that the line is on the other side. I turn to my boyfriend and say out loud, "I guess the line starts over there?" Again, no acknowledgment, no interaction, nothing. There were two women being rung out ahead of us. One woman had her sister still running around the store picking up things one by one causing the line behind us to grow by 5-6 people. Mind you, this store was pretty compact with narrow aisles as there were tables everywhere packed with merch. Then the other woman ringing out, couldn't get a box folded to save her life. I saw her try at least 4 times and wanted to come up there and fold it up myself. The customer was even trying to help and it was just sad. Meanwhile, the other woman was still having someone else pick out more things. By the time we got up there, our transaction was done in less than a minute, and still no interaction other than "what's your phone number for rewards?" That's it. I usually love William Sonoma stores but honey... these women need to communicate.
