I had a messy situation that was becoming a bad customer experience. Luckily, Rene Miranda works at this store. He took ownership of the situation with the highest level of professionalism, patience and sympathy for me as a customer. He was able to solve all the issues and get everything straighten out. He knows very well how to deal with the complexity of the system and has outstanding customer service skills. I highly recommend buying from him. You will have peace of mind that you are getting the right promotions. He will make sure that he sets up everything the right way in the system. I also saw Rene helping his peers so they could provide also best possible experience. Thank you.

BUYER BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE!! These people are a bunch of scam artists!!! The salesperson told us we were getting a free upgrade on the new iPhone 13 and ended up doing a “bait and switch” on us… gave us the iPhone 14 with extra fees and monthly charges. When we realized this soon after, we confronted the manager Basit and Tabitha from the resolution center at Russell cellular & they both dismissed the fact that they changed our plan without us knowing and we were given the wrong phone. They told us that we can change the phone back to the iPhone 13 but would still have to pay extra and that the phone was NOT a free upgrade. I explained that the salesperson told us about their promo, said that our monthly payments would stay the same, and when I asked him for a receipt, he made me take a screenshot from their own computer showing the promotion…. But they still would not honor the free upgrade and could care less about the experience we just had… Which makes me believe that they intentionally have their sales team lie to customers about their promos and then charge more!!!I had to call the “higher ups” at Verizon Corp. to settle the matter. This place needs to go out of business for their dishonesty and extremely poor customer service!!!

Only 1 person waiting, long wait times. Air conditioning was also out. The Verizon outside of the mall greeted us with tons of enthusiasm, and I would definitely go there in the future!

Basit is the absolute greatest. He went above and beyond to resolve all of the issues I had. He was kind, courteous, professional and knew the answers to all of my questions. I will always go to him for all of my Verizon needs. When you go to this store ask for Basit. He is the best of the best!!

Avoid this store at all costs! We’ve been customers for 20 years and when I came to pick up a new phone I ordered online the guy working was upset it took us 2 hours from time of purchase online(not from when it was ready) to pick up then asked if we wanted a bag. Like we were an inconvenience if he doesn’t want to work then maybe stay home. Then when asked if he activated the phone he lied and said he did but when I called Verizon they had no record of the phone in their system ever being activated. After all this they had the audacity to charge a $60 setup fee, all around terrible. Also I was given no receipt, basically handed a box and then creepily then the guy followed me out of the store. Never again will I use this store. If I was Verizon I’d be embarrassed that this store was representing my company.

I had the absolute best experience at this Verizon store. I wanted to switch over from AT&T with the same number because Verizon had a better pla. Instantaneously Basit (I think he’s the manager….) was able to upgrade the phone I had switch my number all in good time. He has great professionalism and stayed beyond the stores hours. I highly suggest this store and this Manager, procedures that seem like a burden Basit made effortless! ? Thanks

This is an independent retailer working for Verizon. We went in for phone upgrades and, while the employee working with us was competent, we had to keep switching desks to use a different computer and another employee had to sign in and kept checking in to see if he needed to log in again and it felt disorganized. An employee sneezed without covering his mouth, just turned his head to the side and let it fly. We will not be returning.

I highly recommend you avoid this store. The complications in upgrading a phone led to a cumulative waste of 4 hours, over the course of 3 separate visits. I don’t know if this is due to this store not being a Verizon owned store (but instead an ‘authorized dealer’) or if it’s due to the representatives’ lack of system knowledge; but overall this experience has been horrible. As some of the other reviews also suggest, I seriously encourage you to not waste your time at this location and perhaps any other Russell Cellular or other ‘authorized dealer’ locations.Additionally, after the second visit (which we left after waiting for over an hour and a half with still no solution) our phones service was ‘accidentally’ disconnected for an entire day (still having not received the NEW phone upgrade, which was already paid for) we called in to ask to speak with a manager and were hung up on.We then tried calling back 3 times throughout the afternoon and the customer service line which acts as a middleman between you and the store you’re trying to connect with, but were never able to get through to the actual store.To whom it may concern, I would also recommend you stop posting your generic ‘we’re sorry about your experience’ post. It doesn’t help and shows your lack of care to genuinely address the concerns of your customers.

Though they weren't able to accomplish what I walked in to do. Two gentlemen working there and myself figured it out together. They were patient and willing to help someone who hadn't purchased a device from them but was willing to assist connecting my new watch even though I didn't buy it from them. Highly recommend for the service and friendliness of associates.

Mika and Kishonn were excellent! Very helpful and most importantly didn’t try and upsell me on my phone plan. I’ve been to Verizon corporate stores that try and bully me into upgrading my plan. Thanks Russel Cellular!
