Negative stars!!!! Most incompetent staff. I rented and returned a truck on the same day during business hours. Four days later they are still charging me. They can’t find the key that I handed to the attendant. Don’t go there. Customer service on the phone was useless.

If I could leave a ZERO star review I would. Rented a 26 ft truck for a week for a local move. when we picked it up there was 1/4 tank of gas. Before returning today we filled the tank to 1/4 tank and went directly to the uhaul location. We waited and waited and waited to return. This location seems understaffed frequently has very long wait times to purchase, rent, return etc. An employee said we were good to go and they would email our receipt. Upon receiving it I saw they had charged us a fuel surcharge of $30, & $13 in fuel. I tried calling to dispute- and it says all their agents are busy and it routes me to a 1800 call center. I filed a complaint- We'll see if they reply...the truck has already been rented so I have no way to prove their dishonesty- what a scam!! We returned the truck with the same amount of gas that we received the truck with. They say we returned it under 1/4 tank which is an outright lie. Will never rent from this location again.

Very happy with the rental. The store employees were outstanding, the van was ready to go and clean, and everything I asked for was in the van.They were very very thorough on my return trip. I will definitely rent there again.

I've rented from uhaul a bunch of different times. This location is now deemed the worst. Check in via mobile and the key was nowhere to be found and none of the employees seem to be able to help because they were too busy or didn't know where the key was. The stone-faced employees was there a lack of knowledge in por customer service need to be retrained. Here I am 1 hour later and the key was just right there on the hook under their nose. You shouldn't have to go through this.

Horrible manipulation .. supposed to be a 29$ fee ended up paying over $300 . They simply hand you the keys and tell you how much gas is in the truck .. not telling you that you need to put gas in.. not telling you about the 2 gas fees .. they also charged me a LATE AFTER HOURS FEE WHEN I ARRIVED AT 6:50 and was assured I was good to go!! These people are snakes that try to minimize the information you need and smack you with random fees at the back end .. I was not late or informed at all about the gas fees . This is insane I will never use u haul again worst experience . Absolute scum . Please read the reviews and stay far away from this place

Recently I purchased a new car, Kia Seltos. I decided i wanted a trailer hitch and searched, I didnt know there was a run on them for this model. The only company i could get an appointment from was uhaul, I booked an appointment and paid for it in full for the uhaul in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. I waited for weeks, the appointment was for 8am on a Saturday. I woke up early and started to get ready on the day of the appointment, I was in the process when my phone rang, it was the uhaul location telling me that the part hadn't arrived as of friday! and that they do not do installs on the weekend! I was livid, asking why I was not contacted earlier in the week to warn me, the guy had no words and didn't care. I cancelled and told him to refund me my 300 dollars. Several days later it was refunded.I began my search again and called around only to find the item was still not in stock. So back to uhaul, I called into their customer service main number. I talked to a very nick young lady. I told her my issues and she assured me that they could get it, I picked the location on okeechobee blvd in palm beach (I had used them before) they are about 30 miles from my home. I stressed to the girl that I needed it done on a Saturday and she assured me it could be, there was no problem. We made the appointment and I waited 4 weeks for the day. It was a 10am appointment, I needed more time to get there. I had no calls from the location by this point in time. I arrived, paperwork in hand and walked inside. I was asked if it was a drop off or pick up, I said neither, I am here for a hitch installation, he says we dont do hitches on the weekends. I was looking on the shelves for a bazooka at this point, and said, I have driven all the way here and I am here for an install. So he looked up my asppointment and said your appointment was rescheduled for that Monday. I said no call? No contact, just move the appointment? and what happens when I dont show because i dont know it has changed? I was very angry, he said the part hadn't arrived anyway. I was beside myself, I said cancel it and walked out saying out loud "Another dissatisfied uhaul customer" no surprise! I was going to leave but decided to call their main number, customer service and complain. I stayed there in my car and spoke with them.They were very nice and understanding as I repeated everything that had transpired. The person was also upset and said this isnt right. So I said and he told me they didn't even have the part yet. The rep said, oh yes they do, it was delivered a while back. I said, oh so he lied to me. Then he says I will email you the escalation number so you can report this and maybe get some satisfaction. I said thank you and went inside, I said to the guy "you lied to me, the part IS here". He had no words, just said let me check. So low and behold, the part is there and I say , bring it, I am buying it right now! I pay for it and load it in my car. Now it sits in my garage till I can install it myself! The next week I call escalations and make my complaint, the girl was very understanding and credited me back 50 dollars. I said thank you, that was very nice. But in hindsight, it's a mere pittance compared to my terrible experience. She said this will be pushed up the ladder and I will be contacted, weeks later, no contact. This is a warning to all of you out there, if you see a uhaul truck on the side of the road broke down, or need something from them, avoid them at all costs, they are a terrible business and have zero customer service skills.

Great experience today at Uhaul...rented a 20 foot truck to help my son move. Check in was easy, truck worked great and return was easy.....nice people working inside were very helpful...

They reversed my initial payment of $140.33 and recharged me $544.89. When I returned the truck 3 employees were out there checking it over. I signed for the $140 charge, acknowledging that I didn't refill the tank and was happy to pay an additional $26.60 for 6 gallons to cover it. I left feeling like it was a decent experience... However, I discovered later that they reversed everything and then recharged me the $140, changed the fuel charge to $47.50 for 10 gallons (math???), and charged me $358.56 for some unspecified damage. I was never notified beforehand, the invoice did not give details. None of the math on the fuel or any of this even makes sense!!! They never pick up the phone at this location so I was routed to Uhaul customer service, where they refunded me the damage cost after an hour on the phone but refused to refund or even acknowledge the shady math on the fuel charge. The best they could say was I could talk to the general manager but that he also was refusing to refund the fuel. I said I would like to talk to him but suddenly he wasn't available, so they "sent him an email" about my complaint.This is an unacceptable way to do business. You cannot present a final bill and then silently change it after the customer signs it and your people have thoroughly checked the vehicle over. It feels like theft. As it turns out, the damage was already present when I picked up the truck, luckily I had pictures. So, if you're going to use this location, use it with extreme caution and take pics of everything, because they and its general manager tried to sneak charges past me and then not even Corporate would refund me their full mistake. Strongly advise against this store and its general manager's shady tactics.

I waited in line for 45 minutes. Got to the counter and he told me they didn’t have a truck for me. He said other people were in front of me because I made my reservation at 7 am this morning. I made my reservation yesterday. I don’t understand why they couldn’t text me before I wasted the whole morning. ??♂️

reservation not honored. lost all faith in the company.my reservation number was 88928822 Lost a customer for life and will spend all the energy in my body telling people my experience and not to ever waste their time with U-Haul.
