Love this Publix. Feels like a home away from home. Cashiers and baggers are always super friendly.

The Alton Publix has the most unfriendly stocking staff at any Publix. I will no longer use this store as some of the staff do their best to avoid eye contact or even saying hello to the customers. The women stock people will literally turn their backs to you if you try and ask a question. The pharmaceutical women with the big hair and the younger black haired women on the dairy isle are the biggest culprits. Rather than helping you they turn away so you can’t ask a question. I actually think they think you are hitting on them by saying hello can you help me. Instead of being helpful they make the shopping experience uncomfortable and they are rude. The Publix in Abacoa is much more pleasant. Terrible customer service at the Alton location. Someone needs to retrain these people as the management is to blame for letting them do this to the customers. Terrible

A really lovely Plant and Flower dept. As with any store nowadays, it seems grocery items run out, particularly BOGO. I understand Mon. and Tues. are good days to shop for, availability. There is a salad and hot bar buffet in the deli, early evening - I never arrived on time to try it.

I’m sorry that customers shopping get in the way of your stocking. Icing on the cake is when I’m loading my groceries into my car and an employee stands there and watches, pressuring me to hurry up so she can take the shopping cart….even though she still has to walk the ven further than me afterwards to get the other carts. I don’t understand the logic. It is so incredibly rude. I was drinking a deli soda and it was on the cart and this ginger teenager and actually picked it up and handed it to me as I was still putting groceries in my car. If I didn’t want help to load the groceries when they were bagged, I certainly didn’t want to be stared at and rushed in the parking lot by another bagger.

I ask for a meal not for 2 meals in one. I feel that they want to sell the food that they can’t sell to another people. I had to trash food. I also had to paid double.

Chris and Michelle were amazing. Chris gave me the lowest price available for my prescription regardless of me having a cupon. No one does that anywhere else. I am always pleased with the service we get at this Publix pharmacy. Thank you.

Doing a review based off of the sub that I ordered. It was easily in the top 3 of best subs that I have ordered before. I ordered the honey turkey sub with spinach, lettuce, onion, and a garlic aeoli sauce. Ask in ask the store is easy to navigate and very clean. But the sub was 5/5.

Pharmacy staff is rude and condescending. Needed help with an emergency supply of a seizure med that I would run out of and their was response that they could help but I should have had enough of my medication so I can either go to an ER or deal with it.

They have a very sub par produce department. I just did an instacart order including organic celery( old and dry), peaches ( very firm), yellow corn on the cob( ends dry and kernels irregular). Green wise romaine lettuce was harvested 2 weeks ago but there is no fresh date on it. Brown spots visible through wrapping and ends are brown. I should know better by now. I keep thinking because I live in Florida produce will be great! Why isn't it?
