This is the worst Publix Pharmacy I have ever used. I have medications I must take everyday. When the refill date arrives they never fill either prescription before late evening so I miss that days meds. The inhaler I take is a standing order and every time I have to refill it, I must wait at least another week before it arrives. The convenience sounds nice if you are a Publix shopper but I would recommend making the extra trip elsewhere if your medications are a scheduled necessity!!

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars.

I ordered thanksgiving dinner from this Publix and said to say it was not good. There was no texture to the food. It was like sharing a tv dinner with my family. We had sweet plantains, sweet potato soufflé, pigeon peas and rice and dressing. Everything was mushy. Won't purchase ever again.

So, Publix.... From the perspective of someone that just moved to Florida and never had publix elsewhere: It's more expensive than Walmart but the produce is edible. The store is cleaner, and it's far less crowded here too. It's less expensive than The Fresh Market- which I'd call the Lamborghini of grocery (and the most pleasant shopping experience) Publix is like the Volvo of grocery / well equipped- reliable. Walmart (specifically lake park) would be the rusted broken down moped of grocery stores. If you know a good Midwest Kroger- Publix is like Kroger but way more annoying staff, and no woo-hoo deals, and slightly higher prices, and less of a produce selection. Publix is however very uniform from location to location- they are all reliably equal which can't be said for a lot of chains... both in layout, product selection, cleanliness and organization. I've been to a lot of different locations and there really doesn't seem to be a "best" location... with two tiny exceptions that I've noticed... 1) the publix on Blue Heron is the only one that ever has had sashimi at their sushi fridge. And I love sushi, but do not eat rice so that's awesome to find. Now if only they did a grain free sushi poke bowl! Also 2) this Publix on Northlake had the worst produce of any of the local Publix stores- less fresh and the most limited selection. Not many places seem to have consistently good produce around here though, so I prefer the green market when it's open for all my produce. I highly suggest getting the Publix app for coupons. They run a lot of BOGO specials- typically on things about to expire or that expire quickly so by the time you want to eat the free one- it's already gone bad. But sometimes you find good BOGO items like a 6pk of beer (and if you get there early it won't be all sold out), frozen foods or pantry items that don't really expire- definitely look for those deals. They do have a good selection of diet friendly items as I eat keto/low carb most of the time. They oddly carry a crazy amount of non-dairy milks, but not the one I prefer (they stoped carrying "NotMilk" last year) but for most people- there will be plenty of options. My biggest complaint is that the staff are way too friendly. Annoyingly so. This store desperately needs self checkouts so I can avoid their cashiers and bagging people. They also follow you to your car if you use an amigo scooter there (my mom uses it) and I find that insanity very invasive. I absolutely don't want to be followed to my car. I do have to say it's not as bad as being accosted by the people at the door at Walmart that want to check your receipt though. That is utter hell for me. Anyway- Publix has a decent selection, It is the only place that has a few items that are staples I have to have... so that's a plus. They carry some harder to find things too. They also have one of the better meat departments around. occasionally there are really good meat deals if you buy in quantity too. I'll portion and freeze meat so I really enjoy those specials. Finally, the crispy chicken sandwich at the deli is WAY better than chick fil-a. It's so good. And Publix brand items are also really good- some I can tell are slightly different than the name brand item it's trying to replicate- but in nearly every instance I actually prefer the Publix brand over the name brand. Their water enhancer squeeze bottles specifically are much better for the handful of flavors I've tried. Overall, because Florida lacks one grocery store that meets all my needs, I'll be coming back. Plus this store is also the closest to me, so it has location working for it.... Since Walmart is awful, target is to expensive, and everywhere else is farther away. This location seriously NEEDS to add self checkouts though. Everywhere should have them.

This reviews for this experience. Everything was great. Publix is always a pleasure to shop at. The thing that really annoyed me and maybe it's not Publix's fault. Maybe it's the character of the person working but I got a refill of water today a 5 gallon refill. I'm 53 years old, I'm gorgeous, but I'm also a cancer survivor with limited mobility. Why does a guy who comes and collects the cards watched me, actually was about to take the cart as soon as I lift the bottle of water up by myself. No help no offered out.

This Pharmacy sector of this Publix are so bad. Their service on pharmacy department are not experienced. When I called for refill they put me on hold and after few minutes they put me on voicemail. That’s really bad. And one day after coming from urgent care, usually medicine took 1/2 hours to get ready for pickup. But they took 2+ days . After that I changed my pharmacy. And also they don’t have any drive thru (So if you want experienced and good pharmacy for your medication you should avoid this location)

I dont know why they have a checkout line for 10 items or less. The woman in front of me had almost 20 items. When you complained, the cashier said she just tried to help. The assistant said she follows the-store manager guidelines. I think they don't want to upset customer ( the ones don't follow the rules). But how about those follow the rules. They should just omit the express check out then will solve the problem. Again, I remember that happened several times before. Must be it's an unwritten company policy.

Called and they immediately put me on hold and it's been over 10 minutes. They obviously are doing this just to avoid dealing with people.

I went to this Publix on Monday and I had the worst experience!!!! I went to get a sub around 9AM there were two ladies there. The lady that made my sub was so rude. She didn't have patience to explain. She was rushing me. It's not like it was a line behind me. And I feel like that's not how you should treat the people. If you don't like working around people or explaining things then that shouldn't be your job. Have patience to explain what you have !!!!!
