The young lady at check in was disconnected and nasty, never making eye contact. Embarrassing the patient about not being able to pay pre-procedure.We were given directions to a waiting room at Cath lab and the volunteer was nasty and rude. The nurses in preop were nice and helpful. It was all pleasant from there. Staff need to remember some people are truly fighting for their lives when they walk in. Also staff and students should leave the closer parking spots for patients to park.

Go anywhere but here if you can! All of this is from 2 different stays my fiance had here. They document you as an inpatient when you never was admitted as one. Then they bill you for a semi private room. Document you as being an addict to alcohol (not a clue where they got that from because one document they have said it came from his mother and she states no even asked her). Without your knowledge, they now give you a medicine for withdrawal of which they charge you for. Somehow forget to feed you your meals. That happened twice. Also while there, overheard a couple nurses talking that they forgot to feed the patient in the room down the hall as well and what should they do to find a meal when the kitchen is already closed. They don't let you shower or even get a sponge bath with having to go days without being cleaned. Your schedule of meds could take at least a couple hours past the scheduled time for a nurse to even give them to you,. Their pain management doctor wants to treat you like you are an addict up until your dx comes back as having a rare cancer and then wants to come back to apologize and change his tune for how YOU mistook how he had talked to you,. Was somehow forgotton to be given an iv bag to keep hydrated before surgery took place so the first thing the surgeon did once arriving to him was have you hooked up to one and saying that it should have been done. The billing department is completely useless in trying to get the documents and charges corrected. Only good thing here was the one charge nurse, whose name I can't remember, that worked the orthopedic floor.I just want to let anyone reading this to know, someone reached out to me not to long after I wrote this to get get more information of what happened. I was able to provide them with more detailed information. They cleared any and all other medical charges so we now owe nothing. Doesn't account for the treatment there, but at least we no longer have to pay for what my fiancée and his family had to deal with from him being a patient there. I just hope and pray that others are also being treated better now that I addressed these issues.

I was here for two days for a Watchman procedure. The check in was fine as well as the procedure, how I had to wait two hours after the scheduled procedure time. While in the pre op seldom did a nurse come by to update me or give me some warm blankets since it was cold. The nurses in the procedure room were very efficient and worked extremely well as a teamAfter the procedure I had an overnight. I would say some of the staff were very helpful while others were not. The room was very clean and nice. I would say the food was ok.Overall I would grade it a C+

I am the husband of Dana Bates. I had a procedure with Dr. Garelick last Friday. This was a fantastic experience (given the circumstances). The first nurse that helped me during pre op was Lauren. She was very helpful and made us feel welcome. We then were taken to a different area where Carol, RN helped me get ready to go back to the procedure room. She was so nice and made me feel at ease. I was then taken back to the procedure room. While there, Ann Franchina, RN and Mnear Adrien, RN did a great job prepping the room and helping me be distracted form the fear I was having at the time. Then Becky Mclaughlin, ARNP came in and administered sedation for the procedure. She also did a fantastic job helping me feel at ease by distracting me with conversation prior to the procedure. Dr. Garelick did an amazing job and I was super happy with this experience. Carol, RN was very attentive during recovery and got me food and drink after the procedure. She made sure I had everything I needed prior to discharge. Given that this was a scary circumstance, the staff and MD did an excellent job of showing care and compassion. This was definitely a 5 star experience. Thank you to everyone who was involved in my care.

my review got removed for being too abrasive. all I will say is medical malpractice I experienced at this place was enough to make me realize that if I am very sick, I would rather take my chances staying at home. I would rather pull my eyelids clean off my face than ever come back here for anything.

0 stars . Before entering the care of this hospital or any hospital in the state of Florida , google “Free kill law” . If you are over the age of 24, unmarried nor have children under the age of 25 , you have absolutely no reason nor inclination that you will be cared for in a humane and caring manner . This hospital has shown me countless instances of lack of general care, empathy or responsibility in their role of my mother's death under their care . Truly , read up on the free kill law before trusting any medical care in Florida , because you will be surprised at the utter savagery you may receive . God bless.

My mother went to this hospital for hypertension and never walked out. She died due to complications of a renal artery stent and died within hours after procedure. The hospital has done the absolute bare minimum. The death certificate was not even signed for 10 days after her death… which is totally unacceptable. I ask questions and I’m pretty much told to ask the physicians- which by the way will never answer the phone or return your call. Your concerns nor your life isn’t taken serious at this hospital.

I’d like to take the time to thank the ER, 2 West, and the ancillary staff for all the care my grandmother received her 16 day hospital stay. While no visit to a hospital is pleasant, your team helped my family make the best of the situation. She was able to be discharged to her home and is recovering thanks to your diligent care.

If you want a cold, callous, uncaring group of individuals who will charge you usurious rates to "help" you when you most need it, this is the place for you.

My dad was taken to the ER with severe back and leg pain. They said it was arthritis and discharged him. I asked if they could prescribe something for his pain and they said no and to follow up with an orthopedist. He was never seen by an actual doctor at the hospital. We left and my Dad was literally crying from pain on the way home. It's Friday afternoon and he can't get in to an ortho until Monday. I would never recommend Gardens Medical Center.

I went in for a short procedure today to the medical center. I was so Impressed from the phone call I received ahead of time, the process they moved us along with, every step choreographed perfectly no missteps. My husband and I both commented on the cleanliness of all parts of the hospital and the nurses were absolutely wonderful, Jill, Stacy, Michelle,Yang, Dottie…I can’t remember them all!! You are doing something right PBGMC!

Do not go to this place. I had a blood clot in my leg they did remove the clot but that was all they were suppose to do but they ballooned my vein and that they were not suppose to do.now the vein burns all the time and hurts it not suppose to do that. they said I signed papers to have it done but the doctor told me the only thing they were going to do was remove the clot now if I get another clot Im dead cause the vein is so large now it will go straight to my lung or heart.my insurance tell me it was unnecessary surgery and wont pay for it so noe they want me to pay for them giving me a death sentence. That just part of what happen while I was there they try to push services off on you that you don't want or need Had one guy tell me I need therapy fow walking I told him I had a blood clot and thats why I had trouble walking I had to go to the bathroom the guy folow me I shut the door and he opened it up and stared at me no thanks I dont need to go to a place like that.
