Cleaners Ruined a formal party dress, stripped the color and refused to give the item back after credited for half its worth. Terrible customer service, so rude!!

My wife, Suzi and I are 72 and 73 years young, have lived and used dry cleaning services in NYC, London, Wash DC, Atlanta and many locations in NJ and can honestly say Oakbrook Cleaners in North Palm Beach is the BEST we've experienced. Firstly, their quality is superb. They read cleaning labels if there is any question of how to clean a garment. They really know how to remove any kind of stain. Second, Carlos, his mother and father have been in the dry cleaning business for over 50 years. They are kind and knowledgeable professionals. Second, their hospitality is genuine. After our second visit, Carlos greeted us by name every time we entered. If you use their drive in service they automatically open your back door to place your cleaning inside your car. Finally, their pricing is very fair and competitive. We cannot recommend them any higher.

My wife, Suzi and I are 72, 73 years young and we've lived and used dry cleaning services in NYC, London, Wash DC, Atlanta, many locations in NY and have NEVER come across a better dry cleaning operation than Oakbrook Cleaners. Firstly, their quality is superb. They really know how to remove any kind of stain. Their quality is above any dry cleaner we've ever experienced. Secondly, Carlos and his mother, the owners are genuine, kind professionals. They have been in the dry cleaning business for over 50 years and truly are very skilled. Finally, their customer service is superior, bar none. After our second visit, Carlos greets us by our name every visit. And their prices are very fair and competitive, We cannot recommend them more highly. PS: If you pick up through their drive in window, they gladly without even asking, place you garments in the back seat of your vehicle.

Was over charged for laundering of two of 4 button down shirts. The "owner" was out and they said they would speak to her...well today I spoke to the owner who basically called me a liar....any shirt I have ever taken to them in the last 3 years cost $5.00 .... all of a sudden two similar cotton button down shirts I was charged $9.90.... NO these were not to be dry-cleaned, LAUNDERED just like the other two!! This place never heard "the customer is always right".... they are rude and think they have the NPB market all tied up. WELL, lets see how many of my friends I can get to go elsewhere!!!

Unfortunately, zero stars is not an option. This cleaners ruined a scarf we sent in for DRY cleaning. They decided to follow care label, instead of specific instructions, which separated the scarf from other items which required wet cleaning. When we picked up the scarf it was ruined, no longer sheer, wrinkled, and no longer looked like a designer scarf, and more like a rag. The manager was extremely rude and said they cannot follow customers instructions because other customers give specific instructions that damage their clothes. We use the dry cleaners frequently, and with no intention to rectify the issue, we mentioned we would not be returning. When we mentioned this, the other rude employee in the back shouted out "thank God." Save yourself from the damage they will do and take your business elsewhere!

My shoes were promised to be repaired on Thursday afternoon. When I came to pick them up on Friday evening, they were not ready and now promised for Saturday. I came back to pick them up on Wednesday the following week and the place is closed! WTF!!!! Terrible and unreliable!

I would not recommend this cleaners. Highly expensive and charge ridiculous prices. $8.50 to laundry t-shirt & $9.00 to laundry jeans. This also ripped my t-shirt so quality of work is poor and didn't even mention anything. It was a brand new t-shirt. Do not give this place business as they do not deserve it.

I had to give one star as zero wasn't an option. They ruined my scarf that was placed in for dry cleaning and they washed because they follow the label. They ignore clients request and do nothing to rectify the situation. New to the neighborhood and use a cleaner a lot...they just lost a good customer. When I mentioned I wouldn't be back employees heard saying "thank god"....same employee was rude on several visits to the business. Do yourself a favor and avoid this business!!!

Efficient, pleasant, friendly and your clothes are also great looking! Clothes are ready at the time stated, you can actually drive up to get your items, never getting out of the car! I have used their services for over a year with never a problem!

Fantastic business. I’ve been going to Oakbrook for years, and I plan to continue going there for as long as I live in the area.Their work speaks for itself. I am always satisfied with how clean and how well and delicately handled my clothes are. Even on the off chance where they missed a stain or what have you, I’d simply just point it out to them, and they took care of the issue at no additional charge, and, got my clothes back to me the very next day.Their employees are top notch. Every employee I have talked to in person and over the phone have always been polite, well spoken, and very helpful.The prices are pretty good here, too, especially compared to other local dry cleaners.They even work on leather! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been out of luck looking for a local cleaner that would even take a look at one of my leather jackets.Overall, I am a loyal customer of Oakbrook Cleaners, and I am so happy that they’re around.
